Neurodevelopmental deficits in children are currently a public health problem that urgently requires effective assessment and intervention tools. We localized and adapted the teacher’s version of the BBC Perceptual Perception Scale, and checked the reliability and validity of the scale;we used the auditory rhythm-motor comprehensive intervention method to train children with autism, and used the adapted and simplified BBC Perceptual Perception Scale to evaluate the effect of the intervention.Therapeutic effects of sensory perception in children with autism. The content of the scale is mainly adjusted and adapted through positive translation and feedback. At the same time, professional suggestions and opinions from teachers and doctors of autistic children are collected through interviews, and finally a simplified version of the perception scale is formed.Data were collected from autism teachers in many intervention institutions, and statistical software was used to test the reliability and validity. The research uses innovative methods such as auditory rhythm training to intervene in children with autism, auditory and motor training based on rhythm, and applies the sensory perception scale to the evaluation of the efficacy of the intervention.Auditory rhythm exercise training is an innovation and synthesis of the existing intervention methods for autistic children. The autistic children who participated in the training were followed up before the intervention, three months after the intervention, and six months after the intervention, and the results were compared. The results showed that the item analysis CR value of the Sinicized Children’s Perception Scale ranged from 4.555 to 11.720,and P<0.01,indicating that each test item had a high degree of discrimination. The internal consistency Cronbach’s alpha values of the full scale and the four dimensions were 0.93,0.870,0.845,0.835,and 0.885,respectively.The KMO test statistic value of the scale was 0.876,and the correlations in various fields were between 0.409 and 0.730.The chi-squared degrees of freedom ratio for factor analysis was 2.128.The comprehensive intervention of auditory rhythm and movement had significant effects on auditory, visual and tactile perception of autistic children(P<0.01),but had no significant effect on diet and feeding of autistic children. To sum up,the simplified children’s perception scale has good reliability and validity, has strong applicability to autistic children, and can be applied to the perception evaluation of children with autism before intervention;Intervention data collected before and after,as well as interviews with multiple autistic teachers and direct observation of children with autism, found that the combination of auditory rhythm and motor training can change the child’s tactile, visual and auditory the most obvious. There was also a greater improvement, but no improvement in the child’s dietary feeding, which may have more to do with the child’s gut and mouth sensations.Figure 1;Table 8;Reference 73... |
