Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Manipulation Combined With Duhuojisheng Decoction On Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect of fixed-point rotation and stretching manipulation combined with oral Duhuo jisheng Decoction on mild and moderate cervical spondylosis of nerve root type of wind cold and dampness Bi type.By observing the difference of pain relief and functional improvement,the mechanism of the treatment was discussed,and the clinical effect of the treatment of Radicular Cervical Spondylosis was further explored.Method: In this study,90 cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of wind cold dampness syndrome were collected from June 2018 to August 2019 in outpatient department of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine and treated by oral Chinese medicine,rotation stretching manipulation or combination of the two.According to the different ways of treatment,the patients were divided into three groups: manipulation group,Chinese medicine group and manipulation combined with Chinese medicine group.All the three groups received basic treatment(including health education and neck function exercise)and corresponding treatment.Among them,the manipulation group is to increase the manipulation treatment on the basis of basic treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine group is to increase the oral Duhuo jisheng Decoction Treatment on the basis of basic treatment,and the combination of manipulation and traditional Chinese medicine group is to increase the oral Duhuo jisheng Decoction and manipulation treatment on the basis of basic treatment.The treatment duration of each group was controlled at about 2 weeks.Each group of patients was assessed by visual analogue score(VAS),Tanaka Jingjiu score,TCM symptom score,etc.at the observation time point,and the relevant database was established.On this basis,statistical analysis was carried out to evaluate the treatment effect of the three groups.The measurement data is expressed by mean ± standard deviation(x ± s).SPSS 20.0 statistical software is used to analyze the data,and the final conclusion is drawn.Result: 1.Before treatment,the baseline data of the three groups were the same,and there was no statistical difference(P > 0.05).2.After treatment,VAS score,tianzhongjingjiu score and TCM syndrome score all showed that the combination of manipulation and TCM group was superior to manipulation group and TCM group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.The second and third follow-up,tianzhongjingjiu score of manipulation group was superior to TCM group(P < 0.05).4.Clinical effect: the total effective rate of manipulation group was 83.3%,that of TCM group was 80.0%,and that of manipulation plus TCM group was 83.3% The effective rate was 93.3%.Conclusion: 1.Both fixed-point rotation and extension manipulation and oral Duhuo Jisheng decoction are safe and effective treatment methods for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,and can reduce the pain of patients to a certain extent,promote the functional recovery,and improve the quality of life.2.The curative effect of fixed-point rotation and extension manipulation combined with Duhuo jisheng Decoction on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is more significant than that of rotation and extension manipulation alone or oral Duhuo jisheng Decoction alone.3.After the treatment,fixed-point rotation and extention manipulation improved the potential of continuous recovery for patients.4.Fixed point rotation and extension is a safe and effective method for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,which has certain promotion value.
