Objective:To investigate the prevalence and change trend of hyperuricemia(HUA)among healthy people in Yangzhou area of Jiangsu Province in 2019,and to compare it with that in 2009,so as to explore the prevalence rate and related risk factors of hyperuricemia, and then to provide some data for the prevention and treatment of hyperuricemia in this area.Methods:1.A total of 12188 healthy people over 18 years old who underwent physical examination in Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital from January to December 2019 were included.Patients need to be excluded:Included patients should be excluded:those who suffer from severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver and kidney function damage, autoimmune system diseases, blood system diseases or malignant tumors;those who are unable to carry out normal physical examination with all kinds of mobility difficulties;or those whose examination is not intact, some of them are missing and are under 18 years old and BMI<18.5kg/m~2.2.12188 selectees were divided into six age groups:20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69 and 70-79.Biochemical indexes such as fasting blood glucose(FBG),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(LDL),creatinine(Cr)and urea nitrogen(BUN)were measured.According to the BMI standard revised by the World Health Organization(WHO)in the Asia-Pacific region,BMI is divided into normal weight(18.5 kg/m~2≤BMI<24.0 kg/m~2),overweight(24.0kg/m~2≤BMI<28.0 kg/m~2)and obesity(BMI≥28.0 kg/m~2).All the data in this study were statistically analyzed by(SPSS)25.0.All continuous variables are expressed by the mean t standard deviation.Chi-square test and continuous variable t-test were used to compare the baseline characteristics of patients with hyperuricemia and patients without hyperuricemia.Spearman correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to explore the risk factors of HUA.The critical value, sensitivity and specificity of risk factors for HUA were analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Bilateral test and P<0.05 indicated that it was statistically significant. The prevalence of HUA in different age groups was measured, and the correlation between biochemical indexes and HUA was analyzed.Results:1.The total prevalence rate of HUA in the physical examination population in 2019was 18.7%(95%CI:18.0,19.4),of which the prevalence rate of HUA in the female population was 5.6%(95%CI:4.8,6.3),and that of the male was 24.8%(95%CI:23.9,25.7).2.In the population of male physical examination, the prevalence rate of HUA in young men aged 20-29 and 30-39 was the highest, reaching 31.9%(95%CI:28.9,34.9)and 29.9%(95%CI:27.9-32.0).3.Spearmen correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis showed that body mass index(BMI)was positively correlated with the occurrence of HUA.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis shows that BMI>23.84kg/m~2 can be used to distinguish the occurrence of HUA.4.The incidence of HUA was 13.3%in 2009 and 18.7%in 2019.The total incidence of HUA in 2019 was significantly higher than that in 2009.5.In the male physical examination population, the incidence of HUA in 2009 and2019 was 14.98%and 24.81%,respectively.The incidence in 2019 was significantly higher than that in 2009,and the incidence in 2019 was significantly higher than that in2009.In the population of male physical examination, the incidence of HUA was the highest among men aged 40-59 in 2009,while the incidence of HUA among men aged20-39 in 2019 was the highest.6.Among the female physical examination population, the incidence of HUA in 2009and 2019 was 3.38%and 5.56%respectively.The incidence in 2019 was significantly higher than that in 2009.The incidence in the 20-29 and 30-39 age groups was significantly higher than that in 2009,while there was no significant difference between2009 and 2019 in other age groups. Conclusion:The total prevalence rate of hyperuricemia in the physical examination population in Yangzhou area in 2019 is 18.7%.In the population of male physical examination, the prevalence rate of HUA in young men is the highest, and the high prevalence rate of HUA in young men cannot be ignored. There is a positive correlation between BMI and HUA,and BMI may be a risk factor for predicting the occurrence of HUA.Compared with 2009,the prevalence rate of HUA in adults in Yangzhou area of Jiangsu Province was higher than before, especially among men,the incidence of HUA in all age groups was significantly higher.Young men gradually replaced middle-aged men to become the main population of men suffering from HUA.
