Clinical Observation Of Shexiang Sihuang Decoction To Improve The Degree Of Consciousness Disorder In Patients After Brain Trauma With Phlegm Hot And Blood Stasis

Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of Shexiang Sihuang Decoction in improving the degree of consciousness disorder in patients after brain trauma with phlegm hot and blood stasis,analyze the principle of action of Shexiang Sihuang Decoction,hoping to provide a new method for improving the degree of consciousness disorder in patients with brain trauma with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:Sixty patients with brain trauma with phlegm hot and blood stasis meeting the inclusion criteria were included in this study,and all patients were admitted to the encephalopathy ward of Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to November 2022.All included patients were divided into control group and treatment group with 30 patients in each group by random number table method.Control group received conventional treatment of brain trauma plus routine awakening method;The treatment group was additionally treated with Shexiang Sihuang Decoction for two weeks as a course of treatment,and the two groups were treated for two consecutive courses of treatment,a total of four weeks,and followed up one months after the end of treatment.We collected traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score scale(self-designed),Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)score and interleukin-6(IL-6)level and security index of patients before and after treatmentand and collected Glasgow Prognosis Scale(GOS)score after treatmentand,all adverse reactions were observed and recorded.Finally,SPSS25.0 software was used to process the above statistical results.Results:Two patients in the control group and two in the treatment group were shed.All the other patients completed treatment and follow-up.The scores of TCM syndrome Score Scale(self-designed),Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),interleukin-6(IL-6)level after treatment and Glasgow Prognosis Scale(GOS)score 1 month after treatment showed statistically significant differences between 2 groups(P < 0.05),and no adverse reactions occurred in each group.Conclusion:Shexiang Sihuang Decoction is effective in improving the degree of consciousness disorder in patients with craniocerebral trauma and phlegm hot and blood stasis.Compared with conventional western medicine and rehabilitation therapy,Shexiang Sihuang Decoction can better relieve TCM syndrome,improve consciousness disorder,reduce inflammation level,and guarantee the prognosis of patients without obvious adverse reactions.It is an effective and safe treatment method.
