Clinical Study Of Changning Decoction In Treating Diarrheal Irritable Bowel Syndrome(Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency)

Objective: Summary of years’ experience in treating diarrhea-Predominant irritable bowel syndrome IBS-D(diarrhea-Predominant irritable bowel syndrome)by our mentor,to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Chang Ning decoction in treating diarrhea-Predominant irritable bowel syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency.Method: from December 2020 to January 2022,72 Patients who met the diagnostic criteria for IBS-D of liver-Qi Qi and spleen deficiency treated in the outpatient department and ward of Jinan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Guang ’anmen Hospital,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences were randomly divided into 2 groups.The frist group was treated with Changning Decoction;the control group was treated with trimebutene maleate.The course of treatment lasted for 4 weeks.The changes of symptom score,severity score,quality of life score and stool trait score before and after treatment in the two groups were statistically analyzed to evaluate the efficacy.Meanwhile,laboratory examination and physical examination before and after treatment were recorded for safety assessment.Results:1.TCM syndrome scale analysis: The total score was no significant differences and single symptom score was too before treatment(P > 0.05);After treatment,there was no significant difference in bowel ringing and the number of bowel movements Per day(P > 0.05).The control group was not better than the treatment group in abdominal pain,abdominal distension,abdominal discomfort,Poor appetite,fatigue,irritability and fecal traits(P < 0.05).2.IBS-SSS scale analysis: the scale scores of both groups decreased after cur,the difference was very significant(P < 0.05);the control group;scale score was not better than the first group,and the difference was extremely good(P < 0.05).3.IBS-QOL scale analysis: the scale scores of both groups decreased after cure,the difference was very good(P < 0.05);the treatment group’scale score was upwards of that of the control group.(P < 0.05).4.IBS-DSQ scale analysis: Intra-group comparison of the two groups before and after treatment showed that P values were all < 0.05.Before treatment,the P values were all > 0.05.After treatment,the number of days of urgent stool within 10 days was no importance,P > 0.05;In terms of fecal characters,P < 0.05.In the number of daily defecation,P > 0.05.5.Overall efficiency analysisThe cure group rate about effective rate was 85.3%,the control grou P was 75.0%.(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.Changning Decoction can extremely enhance the diagnostic cues of IBS-D Patients.Among them,Changning decoction is better than trimebutin maleate in improving abdominal Pain,distension,abdominal discomfort,irritability,fecal characteristics,Poor appetite,fatigue and fatigue.2.Changning decoction can improve the quality of life of patients with IBS-D with liver depression and spleen deficiency.3.Changning Decoction is safe and reliable in the treatment of liver depression and spleen deficiency IBS-D.
