Observation On Curative Effect Of Gegen Qinlian Decoction In Treating Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Damp-heat Stagnation

Objective:This study explores the clinical efficacy of modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with damp-heat accumulation,so as to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:From October 2020 to November 2021,74 patients with type 2 diabetes who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria who were treated in the endocrinology clinic and ward of Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into a treatment group and a control group by random number table method.For 37 cases,the control group took basic treatment and routine western medicine treatment,while the treatment group took basic treatment,routine western medicine treatment and modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction.After treatment,the general information,TCM syndrome scores,fasting plasma glucose(FPG),postprandial 2h blood glucose(2h plasma glucose,2hPG),fasting C-peptide,glycosylated hemoglobin(Glycosylated Hemoglobin,Type A1C,HbA1c)were compared between the two groups.),fasting serum insulin(FINS),and insulin resistance index(Homeostasis ModelAssessment-Insulin Resistance,HOMA-IR)were detected or calculated once before and after treatment,and statistics were made on safety indicators,total disease curative effect,and curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine.Results:The general information,gender,age,course of disease and BMI of the two groups were significantly different(P>0.05).HbAlc was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,FINS and HOMA-IR in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the FINS and HOMA-IR in the two groups after treatment,the treatment group was lower than the control group.(P<0.05),the fasting C-peptide of the two groups of patients after treatment was significantly increased(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores were significantly improved(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).In terms of the curative effect of TCM syndromes,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.24%,the total effective rate of the control group was 68.57%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),in terms of blood sugar efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 71.43%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction has a significant clinical curative effect in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus with damp-heat stagnation.It can reduce fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2h blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels,reduce TCM syndrome scores,improve insulin resistance index,and increase fasting C-peptide levels.The clinical effect is remarkable.
