Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Insomnia With Kidney Deficiency And Yang Floating By Warming Kidney And Suppressing Yang

Objective:Applying the method of warming the kidney and concealing the yang to treat insomnia patients with kidney deficiency and yang floating type with modified Qianyang Fengsui Decoction,the clinical efficacy was observed to verify the feasibility of treating insomnia with kidney deficiency and yang floating type,explore the mechanism of insomnia caused by kidney deficiency and yang floating,and explore new ideas of treating insomnia with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:60 patients with kidney deficiency and yang floating type who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.30 patients in the test group were treated with Qianyang Fengsui Decoction and zopiclone Tablets.30 patients in the control group were treated with zopiclone.Scores of Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale(PSQI)and TCM Syndrome Scale were collected before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,and the data were analyzed and compared by statistical methods.Results:Due to the reason of losing the visit,1 case fell out of the control group.Finally,59 patients were included in this study,including 30 in the test group and 29 in the control group.After treatment,the scores of each scale in both groups were lower than those before treatment,indicating that both groups were effective;The effective rate of the two schemes was evaluated by the PSQI scale score reduction method.The effective rate of the test group was 86.7%,and that of the control group was 76.7%.After processing and analysis by statistical software,P=0.750>0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference between the two groups;In terms of the scores of TCM syndrome scale and Athens insomnia scale,the score of the test group decreased more significantly,and the P value was less than 0.05,indicating that the test group could significantly improve the TCM syndrome of insomnia patients with kidney deficiency and yang floating type,and improve the subjective sleep quality of patients.Conclusion:Qianyang Fengsui Decoction can markedly improve the insomnia symptoms of patients with kidney deficiency Yang floating type,improve the sleep quality of patients,especially in improving the TCM syndrome of patients,has obvious advantages,from the kidney deficiency Yang floating theory of insomnia does have a good effect,worthy of further study.
