Objective: Observation on the clinical efficacy and impact on patients’ quality of life in the treatment of flat warts caused by heat toxicity in Qingre Quyouyin combination with Ge’s palm acupuncture method. In order to study the safety and efficacy of integrated Chinese medicine treatment for flat warts, and also to explore the application of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic external treatment methods in the treatment of flat warts. Methods: 1.56 patients with flat warts who attended the outpatient clinic of the Department of Dermatology of the Attached Hospital of Shandong University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to October 2022 and met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups. In the therapy group,28 cases were treated with Qingre Quyouyin combined with Ge’s palm acupuncture;in the control group,28 cases were treated with oral pidomod oral solution and topical vitamin A acid cream.1 week was used as a course of treatment and 4 courses of treatment were observed.2.To observe the overall efficacy, the total skin lesion symptom score, main symptom score and quality of life score of the two groups were analysed and compared before and after treatment, and the dynamic changes in the number of dilated blood vessels in the target lesion area before and after treatment were observed using dermoscopy. Results: A total of 56 clinical studies were completed.28 patients in the treatment group had a total effective rate of 92.9%(7 cured,15 effective,4 effective,2 invalid),while 28 patients in the control group had a total effective rate of 67.9%(2 cured,6effective,11 effective,9 invalid),and by chi-square test,X2=5.543,P=0.019<0.05,indicating that the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group. The total symptom score, main symptom score, quality of life score and the number of dilated vessels in the target lesion area were all lower in both groups after treatment than before treatment.P < 0.05 by two independent samples rank sum test indicated that the treatment group was more effective than the control group, and P <0.01 for the number, colour, thickness and isomorphic response of lesions, indicating that the treatment group could significantly improve the above symptoms. Conclusion: 1.Both groups had efficacy in the treatment of flat wart, and the clinical efficacy of Qingre Quyouyin combined with Ge’s palm acupuncture was significantly better than that of the control group.2.The treatment group significantly reduced the total symptom score, main symptom score, quality of life score and the number of dilated blood vessels under dermatoscopy in patients with lichen planus, especially in the number, colour, thickness and isomorphic reaction of lesions.3.Dynamic changes in the number of dilated blood vessels before and after treatment were seen under dermatoscopy, suggesting that changes in the number of blood vessels under dermatoscopy can be used as an objective basis for assessing clinical efficacy.4.The integrated treatment of flat warts is safe and effective and can be promoted for clinical use.
