| Objective:Through the observation of the clinical efficacy and safety of the instructor’s experience of strengthening spleen and eliminating phlegm about the treatment of patients with spleen-deficient and phlegm–filled on geneualized tonic-clonic seizures(r est period),to confirm the effect invigorating spleen and eliminating phlegm.To explore the advantages of TCM in treating this disease.So as to enrich the relevant research on generalized tonic-clonic seizures and provide an objective theoretical basis for the treatment of total tonic-clonic epilepsy by the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine.Method :A total of 64 patients,the inpatients and outpatients,diagnosed as generalized tonic-clonic epilepsy and TCM syndrome differentiation of spleen deficiency and phlegm-abundance were selected from Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2020 to November 2022 for clinical observation.They were divided into treatment group and control group according to random digital table method.If the subjects were combined with hypertension,stroke,angiocardiopathy and other underlying diseases,could be selected medications that do not interfere with epilepsy drugs.The control group was given valproate sustained-release tablets.and the treatment group was additionally given the Jianpi and phlegm prescription(Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with Ditan Decoction).Epileptic seizures frequency,epileptic seizure duration,EEG classification and TCM syndrome score scale were recorded by physicians before and after treatment in the two groups.SPSS26.0 statistical software wasused to analyze and process the collected data.T-test was used to test the measurement data conforming to the normal distribution and homogeneity of variance test.The rank sum test is used for rank data and measurement data that do not conform to normal distribution.Chi-square test was used for counting data(%).There was significant difference when the level was 0.05(P < 0.05),and there was significant difference(P <0.01).Results :(1)A total of 64 patients with epilepsy were collected in this study.There was one patient shed in the treatment group and one in the control group,and 31 cases in the final treatment group and 31 cases in the control group.(2)The differences in age,gender,course of disease,past history,TCM syndrome score,frequency of seizures and seizure duration were insignificant between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).(3)After treatment course,the effective rate of seizure control was 83.87% in the treatment group,67.74% in the control group.The rate in treatment group was superior to the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score scale,seizure frequency,seizure duration and EEG classification in the treatment group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),the treatment group was more effective.(P<0.05)(4)During the course of treatment,patients in the treatment group and the control group had adverse reactions,and the symptoms were relieved without intervention.No statistically significant difference in untoward effects between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion :The method of strengthening spleen and resolving phlegm can improve the seizure frequency,seizure time and EEG classification of patients with spleen deficiency and phlegm-filled on generalized tonic-clonic epilepsy seizures enhance the quality of life of patients.There are no obvious serious adverse reactions and side effects in the treatment process,and the comprehensive efficacy is better than that of sodium valproate sustained-release tablets alone,with high safety,which can be widely applied and promote. |
