Prescription Of Chinese Medicine For Children With Cough Variant Asthma Drug Regularity Study

Objective: To study the prescription drug characteristics of children with cough variant asthma and explore potential drug combinations by using data mining technology,in order to provide evidence for clinical treatment of this disease.Method: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,214 children with cough-variant asthma who visited the pediatric clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December2022 were screened and sorted out.Excel,SPSS Statistics 26 and SPSS Modeler 18 were used to analyze the clinical data of the children.Such as gender,age,the four qi and five taste of drugs and meridian transformation were analyzed statistically,and the research results were displayed in the form of figures and tables.Results:1.In this study,the incidence of male children was slightly higher than that of female children,and the age of onset was most in the early school age(3-6 years old).2.The top 11 herbs frequently used were pinellia chinensis,Scutellaria scutellaria,bitter almond,asarum,tangerine peel,coltsfoot flower,poria coia,aster,bupleurum bupleurum and ephedra,which were the core drugs for the treatment of children with cough variant asthma.3.The effects are mainly cough and asthmatic,surface relief,phlegm relief,deficiency tonic,heat clearing,astringent and qi.Among them,cough and asthmatic relief is mainly to reduce qi,moisten lung and promote lung;surface relief is mainly to warm lung and dispel wind;phlegm relief focuses on phlegm and moisten lung;deficiency relief mainly focuses on qi and blood nourishing,followed by Yin replenishing.4.The drug properties are warm,followed by cold and flat,and bitter,tangy and sweet.5.The most common drug channels were the lung meridian of the hand Taiyin,the spleen meridian of the foot Taiyin and the liver meridian of the hand Jueyin.6.There were 20 groups of core drug combinations for the generation of association rules,and 7 groups of second-order associated drugs were: coltsfoot + aster,asarum +schisandra,Scutellaria scutellaria + bupleurum,aster + coltsfoot,pinellia pinellia + bitter almond,pinellia pinellia + bupleurum,pinellia pinellia + scutellaria.13 groups of third-order associated drugs: Coltsfoot + aster + pinellia chinensis,Scutellaria scutellarii +Bupleurum chinensis + pinellia chinensis + schisandra chinensis + pinellia chinensis +Radix bupleurum scutellariae,pinellia chinensis + Radix bupleurum scutellariae,pinellia chinensis + Poria chinensis,pinellia chinensis + pinellia chinensis + Poria chinensis,pinellia chinensis + ephedra pinellia + pinellia chinensis + asarum chinensis,pinellia chinensis + schisandra chinensis + asarum chinensis,pinellia chinensis + schisandra chinensis + asarum chinensis,pinellia chinensis + schisandra chinensis + asarum chinensis,poria chinensis + asarum chinensis,pinellia chinensis + schisandra chinensis + asarum chinensis and tuckauri + tangerine peel + pinellia.7.Cluster analysis produced seven clusters: R1 aster,coltwinterflower,calamus japonica,loquat leaf,Baiqian and Perilla seed;R2 platycodon and Fructus aurantii;R3ephedra,shoot dry,earth dragon;R4 Schisandra chinensis,dried ginger,asarum,Paeony,cassia twig;R5 Codonopsis Codonopsis,Atractylodes atractylodes,Parsnips,Wumei,Angelica,Ophiopogonophiopogon;R6 Tangerine peel,Poria cocos,Magnolia officinalis,Perilla leaf;R7 Scutellaria scutellariae,Bupleurum bupleurum,Frittillaria trichosanthes,Pinellia pinellia and amygdalis bitter are the core drug combination for the treatment of children with cough variant asthma.8.The rule of medication was analyzed,and it was found that the basic treatment prescriptions included Xiaochaihu decoction,Huagai Powder,eight kinds of coltsfoot flower decoction,Linggan five kinds of ginger Xin decoction,Xiaoqinglong Decoction,Erchen decoction,Wumei Wan,Huagai powder,Schweizi decoction,Shensu Decoction and Baizhu decoction,etc.The treatment took into account both the acute attack stage and the recovery stage.At the beginning of the disease,attention was given to removing the external evil,and tonifying the lung and spleen when the evil was removed.Conclusions: The incidence of cough variant asthma in children is slightly higher in male children,and the onset age is mainly in the early school age(3-6 years old).Common treatment methods include relieving cough and relieving asthma,dispelling wind and relieving spasmodic,clearing lung and reducing phlegm,fuzheng and tonifying deficiency,astringting lung qi,etc.Corresponding treatment methods should be adopted according to the characteristics of the disease.Wind-cold patients promote lung to disperse cold,wind-heat patients evacuate wind heat,phlegm-heat patients clear heat to reduce phlegm,and deficiency patients strengthen and supplement deficiency.According to the pathogenesis,the lung is warmed,warmed,moisten and opened to restore lung’s xuanqiang,and supplemented by deficiency replenishing and mediating to aid healthy qi,attacking evil without damaging the positive.The rules of prescription medication for children with cough variant asthma are as follows: Xin to open bitter to reduce lung qi,combined with Ganren to cultivate soil and produce gold,distinguish cold and heat to correct deviation;"Dispelling evil" and "supplementing deficiency" and blocking the further development of disease.
