OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical efficacy of Huayu xinghe Tang in the treatment of mild cognitive dysfunction of phlegm-damp-blood turbidity type and to explore effective methods to mitigate the progression of mild cognitive dysfunction to dementia.METHODS: Sixty-four patients meeting the diagnostic criteria of phlegm-dampness-blood turbidity type of mild cognitive dysfunction were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group of 32 patients each.The control group was given donepezil hydrochloride tablets orally,and the treatment group was given the Chinese herbal soup to dissolve turbidity and move blood simultaneously on the basis of the control group.The treatment course was 12 weeks,and the changes in the overall cognitive function(Mo CA),laboratory serum indexes(IL-6,Aβ42)and Chinese medicine evidence score scale were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the data were collected and analyzed statistically.Results.1.cognitive function efficacy: compared with the pre-treatment period,the Mo CA scores of patients in both groups improved after treatment(P < 0.05),and the Mo CA scores of patients in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).2.efficacy of TCM symptoms: compared with before treatment,the TCM symptoms scores of patients in both groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment(P <0.05),and the TCM symptoms scores of patients in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).3.Serological indexes: compared with before treatment,serum IL-6 and Aβ42 decreased in both groups after treatment(P < 0.05),and serum IL-6 and Aβ42 levels were lower in the treatment group than in the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).4.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05)Conclusion:Combining Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets with Huayu xinghe Tang can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,regulate the expression of Aβ amyloid,and alleviate the inflammatory response in patients with mild cognitive dysfunction,which is important for alleviating the progression of mild cognitive dysfunction to dementia. |
