A Combined Intervention Study Of Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder And Lansoprazole In Preventing The Recurrence Of Yang Deficiency And Phlegm Stasis Type Gastric Polyps After Surgery

Objective: To conduct an intervention study on patients with postoperative recurrence of Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation type gastric polyps using a Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder,observe the traditional Chinese medicine clinical symptoms and gastric mucosal healing before and after medication,follow up the recurrence rate of polyps after one year,analyze the data,evaluate the intervention effect of this formula on preventing the recurrence of Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation type gastric polyps,and reveal its mechanism of action,aiming to provide a more effective prevention and treatment strategy for the postoperative recurrence of Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation type gastric polyps.Methods: Sixty patients who underwent gastric polyp resection were selected as the research subjects based on inclusion and exclusion criteria,and were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=30)and a control group(n=30).The control group was given Lansoprazole Capsules 30 mg once daily on an empty stomach for four weeks after gastric polyp resection.The treatment group was given Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder in addition to Lansoprazole Capsules.The changes in traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores,traditional Chinese medicine symptom efficacy,and polyp recurrence were observed before and after treatment,and the patients were followed up by gastroscopy after six months to observe whether the polyps recurred.Results: After treatment,the changes in traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group(p<0.05)in improving the symptoms of gastric fullness,poor appetite,fatigue,loose stools,and weakness.However,there was no significant difference(p>0.05)between the two groups in improving gastric pain and nausea/vomiting.In terms of total symptom scores,the treatment group was superior to the control group(p<0.05).In the analysis of traditional Chinese medicine symptom efficacy,the effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(p<0.05).In the analysis of polyp recurrence,the treatment group was superior to the control group(p<0.05).There were no significant abnormalities in blood routine,liver function,and renal function between the two groups,and no special discomfort or adverse reactions were reported during the treatment process in both groups.Conclusion: Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder can improve the clinical symptoms of postoperative recurrence of Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation type gastric polyps and significantly reduce the recurrence rate of gastric polyps after resection.It is worth promoting and applying clinically.The mechanism of Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder in reducing the recurrence rate of Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation type gastric polyps after surgery can be summarized as follows: Jia-Wei Banxia Ganjiang Powder is used to improve the physical constitution of patients with polyps.The combination of various drugs in the formula can warm and tonify Yang and transform phlegm,effectively improving the Yang deficiency phlegm stagnation constitution of patients.By slightly resolving phlegm and dispersing nodules,the formula can prevent the growth of polyps.From the perspective of modern research,the various drugs in the formula have varying degrees of anti-tumor effects,which can effectively prevent the formation of gastric polyps.
