A Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Insomnia-Associated Anxiety Disorders(Biliary Stagnation And Phlegm Disturbance) With Wendan Decoction Based On The Theory Of Heart-Bile-Shenhei

Objective: By observing the clinical effectiveness of the treatment of Wendan Decoction on insomnia-associated anxiety disorders(biliary stagnation and phlegm disturbance)based on the“heart-bile-shenhei”theory,researchers will be able to thoroughly assess the effectiveness of treating anxiety and its impact on patients’ quality of life.This will provide a theoretical foundation and unbiased evidence for evaluating treatment and the state of anxiety.Methods: Among patients in Shandong Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine-neuroscience consultations,a total of 72 patients selected to meet the standards for inclusion of insomnia-related anxiety states were randomly divided into trial and control groups.The control group took oral alprazolam,and the trial group gave a wendan decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups of therapies last 4 weeks.Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)measurement table,the Hamilton Anxiety Index(HAMA),the Traditional Chinese Medicine biliary depression and phlegm symptom rating scale,and the SF-36 quality of life evaluation survey sheet are recorded,and adverse reactions are always recorded to determine the effectiveness of the treatment scheme and the impact on quality of life according to the changes in scores.All data are compiled and analyzed using the statistical software SPSS 26.0.Results:1.In the course of clinical observation,a total of 6 patients were excluded due to disconnection or due to Poor compliance,and a final completion of the observation totaled 66 cases,including the trial group33 cases and the control group 33.The general data and case data before treatment of the two groups of patients(PSQI score,HAMA score,the Traditional Chinese Medicine biliary depression and phlegm symptom rating scale,SF-36 quality of life evaluation survey score)were comparable(P>0.05).2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total score of PSQI,HAMA and TCM symptoms of experimental group and control group decreased to varying degrees,while the scores of SF-36 Quality of life assessment questionnaire increased to varying degrees.The effective rate of the experimental group(93.94%)was better than that of the control group(75.76%)(P < 0.05).The clinical effect of the experimental group(90.91%)was better than that of the control group(75.76%)(P < 0.05).The clinical effect of the experimental group(90.91%)was better than that of the control group(81.82%)in relieving the symptoms of TCM gallbladder depression and phlegm disturbance(P < 0.05).The clinical effect of the experimental group was more prominent in improving insomnia and dreaminess,chest and side tightness,nausea and vomiting,bitter mouth,nausea and vomiting,epigastric tightness,dizziness with head weight and little appetite.In terms of improving the quality of life,the experimental group improved physiological function,physical pain,energy,social function,emotional function and mental health significantly compared with the control group(P < 0.05).3.No patient showed obvious adverse reactions in clinical observation,which confirmed that TCM Wendan Decoction has small side effects and the safety is exact.Conclusion: Both Wen Bile Tang plus reduction combined with alprazolam tablets and alprazolam tablets alone had better clinical efficacy in treating patients with insomnia with anxiety state(bile-depressed phlegm disturbance evidence),mainly in terms of improving patients’ subjective symptoms,improving quality of life,improving sleep quality,relieving anxiety and improving TCM symptoms.The clinical effect of the test group was better than that of the control group.
