Objective: To observe and evaluate the effect of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction in the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans with Qi deficiency and blood stasis, attempting to open up a new approach to clinical application of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction in the treatment of lower limb ASO from the perspective of Nutrients Qi and Defensive Qi Theory. Methods: A total of 60 standard cases that met the criteria of this study were selected from patients diagnosed and treated in the Department of Peripheral Vascular Diseases and the Department of Classical Chinese Medicine at the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to March 2021.According to the random number table method,it was divided into control group and treatment group,with30 cases in each group. The control group intravenous infusion of 400 mg Xuesaitong+0.9%sodium chloride injection 250 ml.The treatment group received 400 ml of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction(uniformly decocted by the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)daily in addition to the control group. All patients were treated for 4 weeks.Record the relevant examination data before and after the total treatment course, including ABI,TG,LDL-C,TC,FIB on both sides, and record the TCM syndrome scores before and after the total treatment course(Attachment 1).After integrating all data,SPSS 26 was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Comparability of samples: There was no statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group in gender, age, course of disease,ABI,TC,TG,LDL-C and Fib values before treatment(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.Comparison of ankle brachial index(ABI):After treatment,ABI values of the two groups were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05),that is,both treatments are effective. After treatment, there was a significant statistical difference in ABI values between the left and right sides of the two groups(P<0.01),that is,the treatment group had better effect than the control group.3.Comparison of blood lipid and fibrinogen :After treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in TG,LDL-C,TC,and FIB values between the two groups of patients compared to before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups of treatment were effective. There was no difference in the improvement degree of LDL-C in the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).There are statistical differences in the other three indicators(P<0.05),that is,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of TCM syndrome curative effect : After treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores between the two groups of patients compared to before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups of treatment were effective. After treatment, there was a statistical difference between the scores of the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),that is,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Both simple intravenous infusion of Xuesaitong injection and the addition of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction can improve the values of ABI,TG,LDL-C,TC,and FIB,and reduce traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores.2.The application of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction based on the theory of Nutrients Qi and Defensive Qi has a better therapeutic effect than simple intravenous infusion of Xuesaitong injection. It significantly increases ABI,reduces blood lipids,Fib levels, reduces the total score of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes, improves hemodynamics, regulates lipid metabolism, alleviates clinical symptoms, and improves the quality of life of patients.Guided by the theory of Nutrients Qi and Defensive Qi,the application of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction in the treatment of lower limb ASO with Qi deficiency and blood stasis is effective and worthy of promotion. |
