Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of fixed point rotation under traction in the treatment of adolescent neck type of cervical spondylosis. Methods Seventy-seven patients with cervical spondylosis meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into control group(38 cases)and experimental group(39 cases)according to random number table method. The experimental group was treated with fixed point rotation under traction, and the control group was treated with traditional massage after traction, all of which were treated once every other day,6 times for a course of treatment, two courses of treatment. The pain score, cervical dysfunction index score, cervical physiological curvature and other numerical changes of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared.SPSS25.0 statistical software was used to analyze and compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results(1)There was no significant difference in age, gender and course of disease between the two groups of patients, and they were comparable(P>0.05).(2)After two courses of treatment, neck pain score, cervical dysfunction index score and cervical physiological curvature in 2 groups were statistically significant compared with before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that symptoms were improved after treatment.(3)After treatment, the scores of pain and cervical spine dysfunction index in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).(4)After treatment, the improvement of cervical physiological curvature in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01).(5)After 2 courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 92.31%in the experimental group and 57.89%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(6)No adverse reactions were observed during treatment.Conclusion(1)Traditional massage manipulation after traction and fixed-point rotation under traction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of adolescent patients with cervical spondylosis.(2)Fixed-point rotation under traction and traditional massage after traction can improve the neck movement function, cervical physiological curvature, reduce the neck pain score and neck dysfunction index score. However, the improvement of fixed point rotation under traction is obviously better than that of traditional massage after traction.(3)The total clinical effective rate of fixed-point rotation under traction was significantly better than that of traditional massage after traction, indicating that fixed-point rotation under traction can effectively relieve neck muscle pain, improve neck functional activities, and improve patients’ quality of life.(4)Fixed-point rotation under traction for the treatment of adolescent cervical spondylosis is safe and effective, worthy of clinical promotion.
