Objective:To investigate the inhalation technique of children with asthma, analyze its influencing factors, and compare the impact of educational guidance on inhalation technique and its impact on pulmonary function results,so as to provide strategies for improving inhalation technique and asthma prognosis. Methods:To collect children diagnosed as asthma and treated with ICS or ICS+LABA who were hospitalized in the Department of Pediatrics of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from March 2021 to December 2021,according to the criteria of inhalation device "Expert consensus on usage and quality control of common inhalation devices in children with asthma"(2020 version),evaluated inhalation technology and the patients were divided into completed mastery of inhaler technique group and incompleted mastery of inhaler technique group. The general datas were compared between the two groups, and the regression analysis of the level of the inhaler technique were performed.Results:1.136 cases in completed mastery of inhaler technique group and 228 cases in completed mastery of inhaler technique group. There were statistically significant difference in type of device use, duration of device use, whether to receive inhalation technical guidance, times of medical staff guidance, whether to voluntarily discontinue the device, and whether to follow up between the two groups(P<0.05).Logistic Regression analysis showed that type of device use, duration of device use, times of medical staff guidance and whether to follow up were correlated with the the level of the inhaler technique(P<0.05).2.364 cases were included in this study,228(62.64%)cases with≥ 1 errors,22.2%of patients had≥3 errors. There were 131(36.0%)cases of errors in drug preparation stage,156(42.9%)cases of errors in drug absorption stage and 90(24.7%)cases of errors in post-administration stage.3.After education and guidance, the improvement rate of inhalation technique reached 63.60%.There was statistical significance in lung function compared with before guidance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Children with asthma generally have poor inhalation techniques. The correct rate of inhalation technique and the result of lung function were improved by the education and guidance of medical staff.
