Pulmonary infection is one of the most common complications after surgical operation. It is commonly seen in patients after coma, organ transplantation and chest operation. It has become a major problem troubling medical and surgical staff.Antibiotics have traditionally been used to treat lung infections, but this approach is prone to drug resistance, limiting its clinical use.In addition to the lack of rationality and standardization in the application of antibiotics,it is also closely related to the physiological characteristics of patients, especially patients who are too old, have incomplete lung function and weak immune mechanism.Such patients are high-risk groups for postoperative lung infection. From the analysis of physiological characteristics of patients, the key to the treatment of lung infection is not only anti-infection treatment, but also to enhance the immune function of patients. At present, many literatures have confirmed that thymosin α1 plays a prominent role in enhancing the immune function of patients with pulmonary infection. However, the effect of thymosin α1 in combination with antibiotics on postoperative infection remains unclear. In view of this, the author analyzed the biological characteristics, immunomodulatory mechanism and anti-infection mechanism of thymosin α1 to further explore its application value in the treatment of pulmonary infection. Objective This study intends to explore thymosin α The effect of combination(cephalosporins)on pulmonary infection and immunologic function of patients after surgery, and its side effects were analyzed. Methods In this study,120 patients with surgical lung infection admitted to Jining First People’s Hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected according to theestablished inclusion and exclusion criteria.According to the double-blind method,60 patients were treated with phallocentrism and set as the control group. The other 60 cases were treated with thymine α1 combined with phallocentrism and were divided into the combined treatment group. There were 40 males and 20 females in the combined treatment group. The average age was(65.32±3.52)years(range,50-80 years). The average heart rate was(116.32±8.32)beats /min.The average Pa O2 was(55.76±5.43)mm Hg.The mean systolic blood pressure was(83.62±3.51)mm Hg;The average positive rate of sputum culture was 65.00%(39/60).The control group included 38 males and 22 females. The average age was(65.44±3.61)years(range,50-82 years). The average heart rate was(117.31±8.42)beats /min.The average Pa O2 was(56.31±5.62)mm Hg.The mean systolic blood pressure was(83.54±3.63)mm Hg;The average positive rate of sputum culture was 66.67%(40/60).Both groups were treated for 3 weeks. The clinical efficacy, improvement time of clinical symptoms, pulmonary function indexes, peripheral blood T cell subsets, inflammatory indexes, adverse reactions, organ dysfunction(Marshall)score and quality of life score were observed and compared between the two groups. Results In terms of clinical efficacy of the two groups, the total effective rate of the combined group(93.33%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(78.33%),and the results were statistically different.Compared with the control group, the improvement time of lung rales, fever, headache and cough related symptoms in the combination group was shorter, and the difference was significant(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference between the two groups in FVC,FVC1 and PEF before treatment(P > 0.05).Compared with before treatment, after treatment, these indexes of the two groups had a certain degree of improvement, and the combination group was higher, the result difference was significant(P < 0.05).The number of CD3+T cells,CD4+T cells,CD8+T cells and CD4+/CD8+ cells were not statistically different between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).Compared with before treatment, these indexes were improved in both thecombination group and the control group after intervention, and the other indexes were higher in the combination group, while the CD8+ index was lower, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in WBC,INF-α,IL-10 and CRP between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, compared with the two groups before treatment, these indexes were improved to a certain extent, and the WBC,INF-α and CRP in the combination group were lower than the control group, while the IL-10 index was higher, the results were statistically different(P < 0.05).In the combined treatment group,1 case of rash,2 cases of thrombocytopenia,2 cases of neutropenia and 1 case of abnormal coagulation occurred. In the control group, there were 4 cases of rash,4 cases of thrombocytopenia,3 cases of neutropenia and 2 cases of abnormal coagulation.Compared with the control group, the total incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group(10.00%)was lower, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.05).The comparison results between the two groups before treatment showed that there was no statistical difference in the Marshall score of the two groups. After treatment, the Marshall score of the two groups decreased to a certain extent, and that of the combined group was lower, with a statistical difference(P < 0.05).Comparative analysis before treatment found no significant statistical difference in GQOLI-74 scores between the two groups. After treatment, compared with before treatment, the two groups of subjects had a certain degree of improvement in this index, and the combined group had higher scores in each dimension, the results were statistically different(P < 0.05).Conclusion Thymosin α1 combined with cephalosporin has a significant effect on lung infection in patients undergoing surgery, which can not only help patients reduce inflammation, effectively improve clinical symptoms and restore immune function, but also improve treatment safety and improve their quality of life,so it is worth promoting vigorously.
