Clinical Study On Self-made Fuzheng Jiedu Formula In Treating Cancer-related Fatigue Of Patients With Gastric Cancer After Chemotherapy

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of self-made Fuzheng Jiedu formula in the treatment of cancer-related fatigue in patients with gastric cancer after chemotherapy,and its effect on immune function and tumor markers.Methods:110 gastric cancer patients with cancer-related fatigue of were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 55 cases in each group.The treatment group was given self-made Fuzheng Jiedu Formula.The control group was given Zhenqi Fuzheng Capsules.The score of Cancer Fatigue Scale(CFS)and Brief Fatigue Inventory(BFI)in both two groups before and after treatment were evaluated.The changes of T lymphocyte subsets(CD3~+,CD4~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+)and tumor markers carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)、carbohydrate antigen 199(CA-199)and carbohydrate antigen 724(CA-724)were detected.The statistics were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software.Result:1.Changes of CFS:After treatment,there was no difference in cognitive score between the two groups(P>0.05),and the somatic score,emotional score,total fatigue score and decreased,and the treatment group had more advantages than the control group(P<0.05～0.01).2.Changes of BFI:After treatment,comparing in the group,the number of patients with mild fatigue increased in two groups,while the number of patients with moderate and severe fatigue decreased,and the fatigue degree was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the fatigue score in both groups decreased(P<0.01);Comparing with the two groups,there was no significant difference in fatigue degree(P>0.05),and the fatigue score was more obvious in the treatment group(P<0.01).3.Effect on peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets:After treatment,the levels of CD3~+,CD4~+,CD4~+/CD8~+in the two groups increased,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01),the level of CD8~+decreased,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).4.Effect on the level of tumor markers:After treatment,the levels of CEA,CA-199 and CA-724 in the treatment group and the control group decreased,but the levels of CEA,CA-199 and CA-724 in the treatment group decreased statistically significant(P<0.05～0.01),Better than the control group(P<0.05～0.01).Conclusion:the self-made Fuzheng Jiedu formula can significantly improve the immune function of patients,reduce the level of tumor markers and reduce the feeling of CRF in patients with gastric cancer.
