Objective: Based on the information-motivation-behavioral skills model(IMB model),to understand the current situation and influencing factors of AIDS high-risk behaviors among the rural elderly in Guangxi, and to integrate relevant influencing factors through structural equation model to optimize the IMB model to clarify the influencing factors of AIDS high-risk behaviors of the rural elderly in Guangxi. The interaction and the size of the pathway, and put forward corresponding intervention recommendations to reduce the HIV infection in this population. Methods: Using the multi-stage sampling method of stratified and cluster sampling,1602 rural elderly people in three cities of Liuzhou,Nanning and Qinzhou were finally selected for the investigation with self-designed questionnaires.Use EPIDATA3.0 and SPSS26.0 statistical software to organize and analyze questionnaire data, and use AMOS 24.0 to evaluate the fitting effect of the integrated IMB model through structural equation model.Results:1.Socio-demographic characteristics: A total of 1,602 people were surveyed in this survey, ranging in age from 50 to 91 years old;the respondents were mainly Han nationality, accounting for 70.8%;97.3% were married;82.6%had primary school education and below;56.5% of the workers were employed, and 38.9%(638/1602)of the elderly had extramarital sex;54.2% of the respondents had a personal monthly income of more than 2,000 yuan.2.Sexual behavior-related characteristics: 38.9% of the respondents had extramarital sex,29.9% had only one sexual partner, and only 13.6% of the rural elderly could insist on using condoms during extramarital sex in the past six months.Other rural seniors feel no need to use condoms.3.Characteristics of social psychology: 33.8% of the respondents did not have depression,62.0% of the respondents were likely to be depressed,and4.2% of the respondents were definitely depressed.4.Social support: 69.9% of the respondents have a medium level of social support, and 10.4% of the respondents have a low level of support.5.AIDS prevention services: 60.7% of the respondents have received AIDS and STD education(pamphlets, fans, etc.)services, and only 1.0% of the respondents have received peer education.6.Analysis of influencing factors of AIDS high-risk behavior: 28.1% of people who had sex outside of marriage in the last six months were able to insist on using condoms;age, labor situation, personal monthly income, education level,AIDS prevention services, depression status and social support Affecting the high-risk behaviors of AIDS among the elderly in rural Guangxi.7.Each path in the traditional IMB model is statistically significant, and the standard error value is small. The goodness of fit index χ2/DF = 4.670,RMSEA= 0.076,GFI = 0.923,AGFI = 0.915,all in line with the goodness of fit criteria, the effect size of information, motivation and behavioral skills are 19.4%,21.2%and 20.2%,respectively,the total effect of the three is 60.8%,that is,the three influencing factors of information, motivation and behavioral skills can explain60.8% of the high-risk behaviors of AIDS among the elderly in rural Guangxi.8.In the integrated IMB model, the fitting index χ2/DF = 3.994,RMSEA =0.069,GFI = 0.957,AGFI = 0.934,all meet the standard of goodness of fit,and are better than the traditional IMB model.Influencing factors age, labor situation, educational level, personal monthly income, social support, depression status, information, motivation, behavioral skills and the effect size of HIV prevention services were 3.5%,5.0%,8.4%,8.9%,12.0%,12.3%,17.1%,19.5%,19.7% and 21.9%.The final total effect is 86.7%,that is,the above ten influencing factors can explain 86.7% of the high-risk behaviors and high-risk behaviors of AIDS among the elderly in rural Guangxi. The explanatory power is significantly higher than that of the traditional IMB modelConclusions:1.The use rate of condoms in extramarital sex among the elderly in rural Guangxi is low,and the awareness rate of AIDS knowledge is low.Among them, the rural elderly in Guangxi with low income, low education, and labor status are not employed, who have not received AIDS prevention services, may be depressed, and have low social support.2.The performance of the integrated IMB model is better than the traditional IMB model in terms of total effect size and goodness of fit.In the later stage, the intervention of high-risk behaviors for AIDS in rural elderly in Guangxi should focus on age, education level, labor situation, depression,Social support,AIDS prevention services, personal monthly income, information, motivation and behavioral skills were carried out.3.According to the integrated IMB model, age, labor situation, educational level, personal monthly income, social support, depression status, information, motivation, behavioral skills and HIV prevention services should be increased in order to intervene, focusing on HIV prevention service intervention.
