Objective:The aim was to observe the clinical efficacy in the treatment of post-stroke fatigue with awn needle through thron points of the DU meridian group, and to verify the clinical feasibility of the treatment of post-stroke fatigue. To provide an effective method for the treatment of post-stroke fatigue with acupuncture.Methods:Sixty-six patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected and divided into a treatment group(awn needle penetration treatment group)and a control group(common acupuncture group)according to the random number table method, with 33 patients in each group. All included patients were given basic stroke treatment. On this basis the treatment group was treated with awn needle through thron points of the DU meridian and the control group was treated with common acupuncture, and both groups were treated for two courses of treatment(2 weeks as a course of treatment,4 weeks in total). The improvement in post-stroke fatigue after treatment was analysed and evaluated by recording pre-and post-treatment FSS score,MFI-20 score,MBI score,NIHSS score and the energy component of SS-QOL score. The data analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0 software.Results:1.Three patients were fallen off during treatment and the actual number of cases completed was 63,32 in the awn needle penetration treatment group and 31 in the common acupuncture group. The general conditions(age, gender, duration of illness, type and location of stroke, basic diseases),FSS score,MFI-20 score,MBI score,NIHSS score and the energy component of SS-QOL score of the two groups were comparable with no statistical differences(P>0.05).2.Clinical efficacy: After the treatment course, the total effective rate of the two groups was 93.75% in the awn needle penetration group and 83.87%in the common acupuncture group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.FSS score: After two courses of treatment,FSS score in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01),and after treatment, the awn needle penetration group was superior to the common acupuncture group in reducing FSS score, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01).4.MFI-20 score: MFI-20 score in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01),and MFI-20 score in the awn needle penetration group was lower than that in the common acupuncture group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).5.MBI score: MBI score of both groups increased after treatment, with significant statistical difference(P<0.01).Compared with common acupuncture group,MBI score of the awn needle penetration group increased significantly after treatment, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).6.NIHSS score: NIHSS score in both groups decreased significantly after treatment, with significant statistical difference(P<0.01).After treatment,NIHSS score in the awn needle penetration group decreased significantly compared with the common acupuncture group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01).7.The energy component of SS-QOL score: SS-QOL energy score of both groups increased compared with that before treatment, with significant statistical difference(P<0.01).After treatment, the score of the awn needle penetration group increased significantly compared with that of the common acupuncture group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01).8.Follow-up: Three months after the end of treatment, the follow-up results showed that the recurrence rate of the awn needle penetration group was 6.25% and that of the common acupuncture group was 25.8%.The recurrence rate of the awn needle penetration group was significantly lower than that of the common acupuncture group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both awn needle through thron points of the DU meridian and common acupuncture can effectively treat post-stroke fatigue, and both can effectively reduce the fatigue level of post-stroke fatigue patients, relieve various fatigue symptoms and improve the energy of daily life, and the effect of awn needle penetration is better than common acupuncture.2.Both awn needle through thron points of the DU meridian and common acupuncture can improve the symptoms of neurological deficits in post-stroke fatigue patients while improving their daily living ability, and the effect of awn needle penetration is better than common acupuncture.3.The clinical efficacy of awn needle through thron points of the DU meridian in the treatment of post-stroke fatigue is better than that of common acupuncture, and it is more advantageous in terms of long-term efficacy.
