The Effect Of Tong Qiao Ming Mu Ⅳ On Serum MMP-9 Of Primary Glaucoma Of Liver Depression Type

Objective: To observe the influence of Tongqiao Mingmu IV on the patients’ blood serum MMP-9 of primary Glaucoma of liver depression type.To research the potential mechanism of action about Tongqiao Mingmu IV for Optic nerve protection of glaucoma.Methods: Select 38 patients(70 eyes)who meet the inclusion criteria of Glaucomatous optic atrophy during the period from March 2021 to Januaary 2022.All patients were divided randomly into two groups in order.One was the treatmental group given both Tongqiao Mingmu IV decoction and vitamin B12 tablets.The other was the control group which be given vitamin B12 tablets alone.Since four weeks of treatment,observe and record the changes of blood serum MMP-9,eyesight,Mean Defect,Visual Field Indices,RNFLT and TCM symptom score before and afer.The SPSS25.0 statistical analysis software will be used as a tool for data processing.results:1.It made no distinction between the two groups before the treatment(P=0.258>0.05).4 weeks of the treatment later,level of MMP-9 in the treatmental group was raised compared with before,moreover,the distinction was statistically notebal(P=0.007 <0.05).While the control group was not statistically notebal(P=0.118 > 0.05).After treatment,the comparison result between the two groups showed that the treatment group was more excellent than the control group,and the distinction was statistically notebal(P=0.026<0.05).2.Before treatment,there were no differences in visual acuity,MD,VFI and RNFLT between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,visual acuity,MD,VFI and RNFLT in the two groups were improved with different degrees(P<0.05),moreover,the treatment group was excellent than the other group,the difference was statistically notebal(P<0.05).3.Since four weeks of treatment,the TCM symptom score in treatmental group enhanced greatly compared with before(P=0.001<0.05).While the control group has no improvement,and the distinction was not statistically notebal(P=0.076>0.05).There was notebal distinction between the the two groups after the treatment(P=0.001<0.05).4.The effective rate in total of the control group was 42.11%.While the treatmental group’s was 78.95%,which was excellent than that of the control group.And their difference was statistically notebal(P=0.04<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Tongqiao Mingmu IV can raise the level of blood serum MMP-9 of Glaucomatous optic atrophy patients with liver depression syndrome.2.Tongqiao Mingmu IV may achieve the protective effect on optic nerve by promoting the secretion of MMP-9,and its specific mechanism and pathway require the further observation.3.Combination of Tongqiao Mingmu IV and vitamin B12 tablets can improve the blood serum MMP-9,eyesight,Mean Defect,Visual Field Indices,RNFLT and TCM symptom score of Glaucomatous optic atrophy patients,which curative effect was better than taking vitamin B12 tablets alone.
