Research On The Influencing Factors Of Life Satisfaction Of The Disabled Elderly

Research background: my country has entered an aging society since the beginning of the 20 th century,and the aging of the population has made my country’s development face many difficulties.Today,my country’s domestic situation is undergoing a major population change unseen in a century.The increase in the elderly population is accompanied by the incapacitation of the elderly population.Under the current background,in order to realize the strategic goal of Healthy China 2030,it is necessary to focus on the disabled elderly groups and their life satisfaction.Alleviate and reduce the pressure brought by the aging society to our country.The disabled elderly are a vulnerable group in the special group of the elderly.Affected by many factors such as old age,physical weakness,disease,etc.,the elderly have disability problems in their later life,reduce their happiness and satisfaction,and affect social development.Therefore,whether paying attention to the life satisfaction of this group or studying and discussing the influencing factors of their life satisfaction will effectively improve the quality of life of this group and promote the high-quality development of our society.At present,my country has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,my country has completed its first centenary goal and achieved the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.my country’s development has been recognized by the world.The party and the country have always insisted on serving the people wholeheartedly and committed to improving the quality of life and life satisfaction of the people.Our country is unswervingly marching towards the second centenary goal and the great Chinese dream.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical significance to study the life satisfaction and influencing factors of the disabled elderly.Research objectives: This study conducts a comprehensive and objective analysis of the life satisfaction of the disabled elderly group in a tertiary hospital in Heilongjiang Province,so that people can have a more in-depth understanding of the living conditions and life satisfaction of this special group in this region.Through research,people can understand the current life satisfaction status of the disabled elderly,analyze its influencing factors,and then put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to improve the disabled elderly life satisfaction.In terms of factors,it provides relevant research,new theoretical basis and practical sources,and provides ideas for the future development of this field.Research methods:This study selected 245 elderly people who visited the acupuncture department,rehabilitation department,and massage department of a tertiary hospital in Heilongjiang Province from June to October 2021 for a questionnaire survey.The contents of the questionnaire included general information questionnaire,Barthel index rating scale,K10 scale,and life satisfaction scale.A total of 245 questionnaires were collected,of which 230 were valid,with an effective rate of 93.88%.The investigators distributed paper questionnaires to the group on the spot,and adopted face-to-face surveys to obtain data on the disabled elderly.Epidata software was used to establish a database,relevant data were entered,and SPSS 23.0software was used for statistical analysis.Univariate chi-square test and multivariate binomial logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of life satisfaction of the disabled elderly.Research results:Valid data shows that 230 disabled elderly people in this study completed the survey,and the life satisfaction scale score of 31-35 points is very satisfied,and 12 disabled elderly people are very satisfied with their life,accounting for 5.22%;the score is 26-30 points Satisfied,47 disabled seniors were satisfied with life,accounting for 20.43%;21-25 was somewhat satisfied,50 disabled seniors were somewhat satisfied with life,accounting for 21.74%;20 was neutral,24 disabled seniors Neutral,accounting for 10.43%;15-19 points are somewhat dissatisfied,64 disabled elderly people are somewhat dissatisfied with life,accounting for 27.83%;10-14 points are dissatisfied,5-9 points are very dissatisfied,not satisfied Satisfied and very dissatisfied were 21 and 12 respectively,accounting for9.13% and 5.22% respectively.The results of multivariate regression analysis showed that self-assessed health status,whether children provide care,negative life events,self-assessed economic status,and mental health status were the factors affecting the life satisfaction of the disabled elderly.Research conclusion: The level of life satisfaction of the disabled elderly in this area is relatively low,among which self-assessed health status,whether children provide care,negative life events,self-assessed economic status,and mental health are the main factors affecting the disabled elderly’s life satisfaction.At present,efforts should be made to improve the satisfaction status of the disabled elderly,and the following suggestions are put forward in response to the above conclusions: 1.Give full play to the macro-leading role of the government to comprehensively improve the life satisfaction of the disabled elderly;2.Develop diversified community services to improve the satisfaction plight of the disabled elderly;3.Create a harmonious family atmosphere and give full play to the role of the basic unit of the family;4.Create a healthy mentality and realize self-worth in old age;5.Promote the health concept of traditional Chinese medicine and help improve the life satisfaction of the disabled elderly.Multi-parties should cooperate and work together to improve the life satisfaction of the disabled elderly.
