Objective: By con-trast the relevant data of patients with urate calculi and those without a history of urinary calculus, such as living and dietary factors,CT imaging measurement data of abdomen and pelvis, laboratory related testing indicators,To explore relevant factors in urate calculi formation, provide a basis for the early prevention to the population at high risk for urate calculi. Methods: The study took place from October 2020 until January 2022.The 47 patients were recruited from the Department of Urology,Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi medical university, who were certain as urate calculi patients after surgical therapy(case group),The controls were 47 healthy volunteers from the medical examination during the same period and had no history of stone disease.Collected and analyzed their relevant data. The urate calculi group of patients consisted of 30 males(63.8%),17 females(36.2%),mean age of patients was(55.17 ± 11.37)years.The control group patients consisted of 22 males(46.8%),25 females(53.2%),the mean age of patients was(45.79±14.69)years.Comparison of the general data,BMI,serum uric acid, serum creatinine, serum lipid,24 h urinary calcium excretion,24 h urinary uric acid, abdominal fat area, diet and lifestyle habits between the urate calculi and control groups,Variables with a statistically significant association were then included in logistic regression analysis,to analyze the correlation of various factors with urate calculi. Results: There were significant differences in the age,BMI,prevalence of hypertension,VFA,TFA,creatinine, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,24 h urinary uric acid, urinary p H,Drinking habits, dietary habits(usually like red meat, soy products, vegetables and fruits)of the urate calculi group and controls, difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).The factors which all the above analyses with statistical significance included in Logistic regression analysis, the obtained findings showed that BMI[OR=1.40,95%CI(1.01-2.01),P<0.05],VFA[OR=1.06,95%CI(1.02-1.13),P<0.05],serum creatinine[OR=1.06,95%CI(1.02-1.11),P<0.05],colesterol total [OR=3.28,95%CI(1.12-9.58),P<0.05],preference for the red meat [OR=3.15,95%CI(1.03-9.68),P<0.05]are regarded as important risk factors for urate calculi formation, urinary p H[OR=0.25,95%CI(0.07-0.92),P<0.05],drinking habits[OR=0.04,95%CI(0.01-0.26),P<0.01],preference for vegetables [OR=0.35,95%CI(0.12-0.99),P<0.05] are protective factors regarding urate calculiformation.Conclusions:(1)BMI,VFA,serum creatinine, total cholesterol preference for red meat, and low urine p H are risk factors in urate calculi-formation in patients.(2)Correct the low p H state of urine, drink water regularly and take in more vegetables and fruits can better prevent urate calculi.
