Clinical Study Of Tongxie Yaofang Combined With SiShen Pill In The Treatment Of EGFR-TKIs-associated Diarrhea In Non-small Cell Lung Cancer With Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Tongxie Yaofang in combination with Sishen Pill plus and minus therapy in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients with epidermal growth factor receptor gene mutations who developed relevant diarrhea after application of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors.Methods: 70 stage ⅡB-Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer patients with diarrhea caused by EGFR-TKIs who met the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into observation and control groups by following the principle of randomized control,observation group was given "Tongxie Yaofang combined with Sishen Pill",and the control group was treated with "montmorillonite powder",with 14 days as a course of treatment,Observe and record the diarrhea grade,diarrhea associated symptom score,KPS score,inflammatory factors and drug safety on the 1st,14 th and 28 th days.Draw a conclusion through statistical analysis.Results: the control group had two shedding cases,the observation group had one shedding case and voluntarily withdrew one case,the final control group had 33 cases,the observation group had 33 cases,and a total of 66 cases were completed.(1)Efficacy of diarrhea: After treatment,5 cases in the control group were significantly effective,21 cases were effective,and the effective rate was 79.8%;12 cases in the observation group were markedly effective,18 cases were effective,and the effective rate was 90.9%.The actovoty ratio of diarrhea in the control group was lower than that in the observation group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)Efficacy of TCM syndromes: There was no statistical difference in the syndrome scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),while after treatment,the effective rate of the control group was 72.7%;The actovoty ratio was 90.9% in the observation group.The efficacy was significantly better in the observation group than in the control group,with significant differences(P<0.05).(3)Quality of life: Before treatment,the Karnofsky performance status scores of the two groups did not differ significantly(P>0.05),and after treatment,84.8% of the patients in the control group had improved Karnofsky performance status scores less than 100% of the patients in the observation group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(4)Inflammatory factors: The levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in the two groups before treatment were not significantly different(P>0.05).the levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in the two groups after treatment were improved compared with those before treatment,and the levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).(5)Adverse effects: two patients in the control group experienced mild constipation and one patient in the observation group experienced mild nausea,which resolved spontaneously after discontinuation of the drug.Conclusion: Compared with montmorillonite powder in the treatment of diarrhea due to administration of EGFR-TKIs in patients with non-small cell lung cancer,the addition and reduction of Tongxie Yaofang combined with Sishen Pill was highly effective in improving antidiarrheal efficacy,improving clinical symptoms,improving quality of life,and reducing inflammatory indicators.
