Clinical Study On Treatment Of Migraine(Spleen Deficiency And Phlegm-dampness Syndrome)with Li’s BanxiaBaizhuTianma Decoction

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Li’s Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of Migraine(Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-dampness Syndrome)compared with Sibelium.Methods 66 patients were randomly separated into two groups with 33 patients in each group.The experimental group was treated with Li’s Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and the control group with Sibelium for 4weeks.Observation was made before admission,4 weeks after treatment and 4weeks after discontinuation.In term of the headache diary,the comprehensive headache score,TCM syndrome score,VAS,HIT-6,MSQOL were completed.Safety observation was carried out throughout.SPSS25.0 was used to analyze and compare the data.Results The clinical total effective rate and TCM total effective rate of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05),which indicated that Li’s Decoction was more effective in treating Migraine.After 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of the above-mentioned five scales were upgraded in both groups compared with scores before admission(P<0.05),it shows that both Li’s Decoction and Sibelium have certain curative effects on the improvement of the general condition of Migraine,the degree of headache,the syndrome of TCM,disability and quality of life in a short time,and the scores of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of the above five scales in the two groups of after4 weeks of discontinuation were better than those of before admission(P<0.05),and the effects of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with 4 weeks after treatment,the comprehensive headache score,HIT-6,MSQOL of 4 weeks after discontinuation were better in both groups(P<0.05).In the experimental group,VAS was better at 4 weeks after discontinuation time point(P<0.05),while VAS of the control group was no significant difference between the two time points(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score of both groups between the two time points(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in safety between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Li’s Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction is superior to Sibelium in the treatment of Migraine(Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-dampness Syndrome)and has good safety.
