| Today,the rapid development of Internet makes various information rendering massively.How to attract audience from redundant information and improve the information efficiency have become the theme of current information design research.On the one hand,the success of information design depends on the designers’ personal experience and subjective feelings,on the other hand,browsing and receiving information are mainly influenced by personal preferences.There is a lack of effective mapping relationship between the designer’s experience and feelings and the audience’s intention and preference,Kansei engineering uses engineering methods to quantify the audience’s kansei intentions,which can transform psychological needs and sensory impressions into design elements.Taking the design of popular science information for depression as the theme and the audience needs as the guide,this project uses Kansei engineering and eye-tracking technology to investigate the correspondence between audience’s kansei intention and information design elements.Then,based on the above analysis,this project completes the design practice of science information.The details of the work are as follows:(1)Obtain audience’s kansei intention of depression information to determine the design direction.Select the positive kansei intention of Depression as samples and obtain 10 initial kansei words by downscaling the obtained imagery spatial location with Kansei engineering classification model、multi-dimensional Scaling(MDS)and cluster analysis(CA).Obtain evaluation matrix by semantic difference(SD)and get the d-value of residual sum of squared differences(RSSD)by principal component analysis(PCA)and procrustes analysis(PA).Then,after kansei screening,five representative kansei words were obtained: calm,lively,rigorous,coordinated and bright,which determine the design direction.(2)Obtain the color schemes of information design for Depression.Step 1: Select and save color graph samples by questionnaire and word association method.Step 2:Combine the k-means method,Photoshop extraction method,and Color cc to extract Color samples twice.Step 3: Get five groups of color schemes through combination screening.(3)Use eye tracking technology to verify the color schemes.Through eye movement experiments to determine the layout design elements that affect the audience’s perception and provide a basis for the design.(4)Practice the information design of Depression popularization.After determining the design orientation,color scheme,and layout elements,the information design of Depression were carried out and four information design works were finished.At the same time,take the four pieces of information design as the main content to design related derivatives. |
