Objective: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),referred to as COPD,is a common disease worldwide.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbations(AECOPD)is an important clinical event in patients with COPD and affects the quality of life of patients severely, also lead to hospitalization and death of patients. This study was to investigate the prevalence of Mycoplasma pneumoniae(Mp)infection in hospitalized AECOPD patients and related risk factors, and analyze the important clinical features of AECOPD induced by mycoplasma in order to provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment..Methods: AECOPD patients who were hospitalized in Respiratory Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University and Shenyang Central Hospital from June 2016 to October 2017 were collected.5ml of whole blood was collected at the time of hospitalization and 5ml of whole blood was collected again after 10-14 days. Both seras were achieved after centrifugation and then tested for Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody.AECOPD patients were grouped according to different age groups, different course of disease and different seasons to compare the positive rate of Mycoplasma pneumoniae. There is no intervention in the diagnosis and treatment of above cases, but clinical information such as demographic data, clinical features, test results and treatment response need to be carefully recorded. Results:In this study, the positive rate of AECOPD patients with Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection was 22.58%(21/93),indicating that Mycoplasma pneumoniae plays an important role in the pathogenic composition of AECOPD,and there was no statistically significant difference in the positive rate among different genders;Incidences occurred in all seasons, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence among groups. The positive rate of patients with COPD with more than5 years of history was significantly higher than that of patients with a history of less than 5 years;patients with AECOPD complicated with mycoplasma pneumoniae had cough and fever. The incidence is higher, the cough is more stubborn and the fever takes longer. In the initial diagnosis and treatment of AECOPD patients should fully integrate the clinical characteristics of patients, pay attention to atypical pathogen infection, early detection and timely treatment.
