Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Ischemic Stroke (Apoplexy Involving Both Collateral And Meridian-phlegm Stasis Syndrome) With Jiawei Ditan Decoction

Objective We designed a prospective study on Jiawei Ditan Decoction treating of acute ischemic stroke(apoplexy involving both collateral and meridian-phlegm stasis syndrome),aiming to evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety and provide objective basis for clinical application.Methods Using the prospective study method,we included 60 patients with acute ischemic stroke that met the standard from January 2017 to December 2017 in the department of neurology of the hospital in huzhou city,divided into 30 patients in the treatment group and 29 in the control group(1 cases of shedding).The control group was treated with routine western medicine,and the treatment group was treated with routine western medicine and Jiawei Ditan Decoction.After 2 weeks of treatment,We observed differences in efficacy and safety between the two groups.Results ①In this study,we included 60 patients with acute ischemic stroke that met the standard in the department of neurology of the hospital in huzhou city divided into 30 patients in the treatment group and 29 in the control group(1 cases of shedding.②the treatment group was treated with routine western medicine and Jiawei Ditan Decoction,After 2 weeks of treatment,5 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective and 5 cases were null and void.The total effective rate of disease was 83.3%.The control group was treated with routine western medicine.After 2 weeks of treatment,3 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective and 10 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate of disease was 65.5%.The total efficiency of the two groups was compared,and the difference was statistically significant in P<0.05.③In the TCM clinical symptom score,NIHSS score and BI index score,the treatment group were P<0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.The control group were P<0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.The treatment group and the control group after treatment were P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.④In the Homocysteine(HCY)and blood viscosity(low cut and high cut),The treatment group were P<0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.The control group were P>0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant.The treatment group and the control group after treatment were P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.⑤In the blood lipid(triglyceride TG,total cholesterol TC),The treatment group were P<0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.The control group were P<0.05 before and after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.The treatment group and the control group after treatment were P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion ①Jiawei Ditan Decoction Combined with western medicine in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke(apoplexy involving both collateral and meridianphlegm stasis syndrome)was superior to conventional western medicine in the total effective rate of disease。②Jiawei Ditan Decoction Combined with western medicine routine treatment in acute phase of ischemic stroke(apoplexy involving both collateral and meridian-phlegm stasis syndrome)was better than conventional western medicine in improving TCM clinical symptoms,NIHSS score and BI index score.③Jiawei Ditan Decoction Combined with conventional western medicine therapy in acute stage of acute ischemic stroke(apoplexy involving both collateral and meridian-phlegm stasis syndrome)in reducing serum homocysteine(HCY),blood viscosity(low shear and high shear)level were better than conventional western medicine therapy,and in reducing blood lipid(triglyceride TG,total cholesterol TC)were equivalent to that of conventional treatment in western medicine.④The combination of Jiawei Ditan Decoction Combined with western medicine in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke(apoplexy involving both collateral and meridianphlegm stasis syndrome)was safe and reliable.
