Analysis Of The Characteristics Of Acupuncture Therapy In Contemporary And Major Acupuncture Schools

Objective Through analyzing and sorting out acupuncture therapy of typical six schools,concluding technical points,this subject is getting their acupuncture therapy feature,which also provides thoughts and experiences for clinical acupuncturist,partial informationand reference for research of acupuncture therapy.Methods This study extensively collected the representative works and literature materials of six major acupuncture and moxibustion schools,focused on acupuncture research.This paper applies the methods of literature collation and comparative analysis,summarizes the representatives of six schools of acupuncture and moxibustion and their main academic thoughts,analyzes the characteristics of the six contemporary acupuncture methods,and sums up the technical points.Results 1.This study collected extensively the representative works and documents of six schools of physicians related to acupuncture and moxibustion(except eye needle,Sichuan pestle needle,The Huxiang five Classics matching needle-pushing schools,other five schools such as ethnic medicine)published by the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012,these schools are Chengjiang Acupuncture School,Henan Shao’s Acupuncture School,Gansu Zheng’s Acupuncture School,Jin three-Needle Therapy School,Changbai Mountain Tongjing and visceral regulation manipulation school,Guan’s special needling school.2.All of acupuncture and moxibustion schools attach great importance to manipulation of acupuncture.Emphasizing the importance of treating spirits and manipulations in serting,the use of twisting and lifting in the practice of acupuncture is extremely distinctive,the contents of the reinforcing and reducing techniques are very rich,the techniques of keeping needles are abundant,and the techniques of removing needles also emphasize the distinction of reinforcing and reducing.According to the time of acupuncture mainly divided into midnight-noon and ebb-flow doctrine manipulation and Ling turtle eight methods and so on.Conclusion(1)The main contemporary schools of acupuncture and moxibustion are Chengjiang Acupuncture School,Henan Shao’s Acupuncture School,Gansu Zheng’s Needle School,Jin’s Three-Needle Therapy School,Changbai Mountain Tongjing and visceral regulation manipulation school and Guan’s Special Needle School.(2)The six schools attach importance to classical needling methods,which are mostly derived from classics and inherited from traditional needling methods.At the same time,the six schools of acupuncture simplify and carry forward innovation in the aspect of needling.(3)The six schools have good guiding value for modern acupuncture clinicians in six aspects: inserting needle,hand-manipulating needle,reinforcing and reducing technique,keeping needle,removing needle out and time medicine.
