Observation On Curative Effect Of Bladder Meridian Cupping In The Treatment Of Exogenous Fever

Objective To investigate the immediate efficacy of bladder meridian cupping in adjuvant treating exogenous fever and its clinical effect on improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and to improve the clinical utilization rate.Methods In this study,Seventy-eight patients diagnosed as exogenous fever were randomly divided into cupping group(39 cases)and drug group(39 cases).The drug group was treated with phenolamethamine tablets(Tylenol),1 tablet every 6 hours,no more than 4 times within 24 hours.On the basis of the treatment of phenolamethamine tablets,an extra course of treatment bladder meridian cupping about three to five minutes was treated.The body temperature of the patients in both groups was measured and recorded before treatment and after treatment 15 minutes,30 minutes,60 minutes and 90 minutes.Referring to the graded quantitative evaluation table of TCM symptoms of exogenous fever to evaluate the improvement before and after treatment,at the same time,the total curative effect and effect of bladder meridian cupping in treating exogenous fever(wind-heat offense syndrome)can be evaluated.Results Sex,age,body temperature and total score of TCM symptoms of two groups of patients before treatment have no statistics significance(P>0.05).(1)The body temperature of the patients in the two groups decreased in varying degrees after treatment for 15 minutes,30 minutes,60 minutes and 90 minutes,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that the two methods could decrease the body temperature of patients with exogenous fever(wind-heat offense syndrome).Compared with the group,the decrease of body temperature was more obvious and the descending time was earlier in the cupping group.(2)The total score of TCM symptoms of patients in the two groups decreased in varying degrees after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that the two methods could alleviate TCM symptoms of patients with exogenous fever(wind-heat offense syndrome).Compared with the group,the decrease of the total score and the improvement of TCM symptoms was more obvious in the cupping group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,the total curative effect of the two groups was compared.In the cupping group,there were clinical recovery 6 cases,remarkable effective 13 cases,and effective 12 cases,ineffective 3 cases and the total effective rate was 91.18%.In the drug group,there were clinical recovery 3 cases,remarkable effective 4 cases,and effective 20 cases,ineffective 9 cases and the total effective rate was 75%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion With the bladder meridian cupping adjuvant treatment,it can quickly decrease the high temperature and alleviate TCM symptoms of the patients with exogenous fever(wind-heat offense syndrome).It can be popularized widely.
