Research On Selection Mechanization Behavior And Influencing Factors Of Garlic Growers In Jinxiang County,Shandong Province

Agricultural mechanization is an important material and technical basis for the development of modern agriculture,and an important embodiment of the development level of agricultural productivity.Improving the level of agricultural mechanization is of great significance for promoting farmers’ income and accelerating the process of agricultural modernization in China.Jinxiang County is located in the southwest of Shandong Province,known as the "hometown of garlic" title.Garlic has high edible and medicinal value,and its market demand continues to expand,However,garlic is a labor-intensive crop with large labor demand and high work intensity.With the continuous development of China’s social economy,production costs continue to rise,and the traditional planting method is difficult to meet the market demand.Therefore,the garlic industry needs to change the traditional mode of production,the use of capital-intensive mechanized production methods,reduce labor intensity,realize the garlic farmers labor-saving,then breaking through the bottleneck of the development of mechanization is particularly important.Garlic industry,as a characteristic industry in Jinxiang County of Shandong Province,is a national geographical indication product of China.How to improve the mechanization level of garlic growers has become an important topic in the mechanization level of garlic industry in China.In view of this,on the basis of the existing research,this paper,from the perspective of garlic growers,through empirical research on the influence factors of garlic growers’ mechanization behavior,has important practical significance to improve the level of mechanization of garlic industry in China.Firstly,this paper constructs the research framework of garlic farmers’ mechanization choice behavior and influencing factors by reading domestic and foreign literatures,combining farmers’ behavior theory,agricultural technology demand theory and agricultural technology diffusion theory.Secondly,Jinxiang County garlic farmers mechanization selection investigation,obtained 230 valid questionnaires,the data obtained by using descriptive statistical methods to analyze the basic characteristics of growers,household management characteristics,external environment characteristics.On this basis,the construction of index system,using binary Logistics model for empirical research,the results show that: literacy,whether willing to try new things,The garlic planting area,the number of main farmers in the family,the number of technical guidance provided by the agricultural machinery service station,the understanding of the subsidy policy for the purchase of agricultural machinery,the publicity of the village committee and the township government on the mechanization of garlic and other seven indicators have a significant impact on the choice behavior of garlic farmers mechanization.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,combined with the development status of garlic mechanization in Jinxiang County,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to optimize the choice behavior of garlic farmers’ mechanization: First,enrich the publicity channels to enhance the awareness of garlic farmers on production mechanization;Second,standardize planting and promote the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy;Third,improve the garlic sales system to ensure the income of growers;Fourth,improve the service system of agricultural mechanization,improve the pressure of farmers to buy machines;Fifth,the joint professional research institute,strengthen the performance level of agricultural machinery;Sixth,increase agricultural subsidies to help promote the mechanization of garlic production.In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of garlic industry,drive more farmers to increase income and become rich.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole text and puts forward the development prospect.
