| Crop straw is an important biological resource,and the comprehensive utilization of crop straw is important for stabilizing the agricultural ecological balance and relieving energy and environmental pressure.Farmers’ willingness and behavior toward agricultural straw supply is the key to influence straw collection and utilization.To study the factors affecting farmers’ use of mechanized collection of sugarcane straw,this paper used semi-structured interviews and questionnaires to collect data,constructed a binary logistic model,and conducted regression analysis of the sample data using SPSSAU.It was found that eight factors,including the number of household agricultural laborers,investigation and punishment efforts,publicity efforts,policy satisfaction,perception of improving air quality,capital investment,labor input amount,and sugarcane production in the following year,had significant effects on farmers’ willingness to use mechanization,among which three factors,including investigation and punishment efforts,policy satisfaction and perception of improving air quality,had positive effects on farmers’ willingness to use mechanization to collect sugarcane straw,and household Five factors,including the number of agricultural laborers,publicity efforts,financial investment,labor input and sugarcane yield in the following year,had a negative effect on farmers’ willingness to use mechanized sugarcane straw collection.In addition,this paper uses the conditional value assessment method to measure the paid willingness of sugarcane farmers in N town of B city to use mechanized collection of sugarcane straw at 98.44 yuan/mu/year.This paper suggests improving the satisfaction of farmers with the straw comprehensive utilization policy by improving the sugarcane straw off-field collection,storage and transportation system,reasonably formulating the subsidy standard,optimizing the subsidy claiming process,and introducing social capital to participate in the straw utilization industry development,so as to enhance their willingness to use mechanized collection of sugarcane straw. |
