This research aims at the correlation between the research and application of domestic agricultural robots.Through the comprehensive analysis of agricultural robot research and patent works,this paper studies the correlation between domestic agricultural robot research and products,and analyzes the research progress of domestic agricultural robots.This paper analyzes the development trend of agricultural robots from the perspectives of research and patent application.Research is based on theory,while patent application is based on application.The research of agricultural robot will be carried out from these two angles.The research process mainly includes three points:(1)Metrological analysis of agricultural robot research.This paper analyzes the distribution trend,organization distribution statistics and keywords of articles in the field of agricultural robots.The research of agricultural robot is divided into embryonic stage,initial stage and rapid growth stage.The embryonic stage was from 1982 to 2001;The initial stage is from 2002 to 2011;The rapid growth stage is from 2012 to 2021.Among the domestic research institutions,universities are the main research institutions,including the school of engineering of Nanjing Agricultural University,the school of engineering of China Agricultural University and the school of mechanical and electronic engineering of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology.Hot areas mainly focus on machine vision and manipulator.(2)Analysis of agricultural robot patent application.The application trend,applicant and application category of agricultural robot patent application are analyzed.Agricultural robot application research is divided into embryonic stage,initial stage and rapid growth stage.The embryonic stage is from 1991 to 2010;The initial stage is from 2011 to 2015;The rapid growth stage is from 2016 to 2021.The largest number of patent applicants are universities,mainly including Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology,Jiangsu University and China Agricultural University.Hot patent applications include robot arm,livestock and poultry aquaculture automation,weeding robot,etc.(3)Comprehensive analysis.After comprehensively comparing the trend of research and patent application,it is found that the trend of the two is close to unity,and there is only a time difference of nearly 10 years.After 2015,the time difference between the two gradually closed,and the trend showed signs of unity.Agricultural robot research institutions are mainly universities,among which Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology,China Agricultural University,Northeast Forestry University,South China Agricultural University and Nanjing Agricultural University have deep research in theoretical research and application research.The hot research fields are mainly the field of machine vision and the field of manipulator.Conclusion:agricultural robot has experienced a process from scratch in China,and the research in all aspects is in a rapid growth stage.A large number of researchers and research institutions enter this field.A growing number of research papers and patent applications will be there in the future.As the main force of scientific research,universities will continue to play an critical role in the field of agricultural robot and become an important force in the field of agricultural robot research.The hot areas will focus on the field of multi-sensor integration and manipulator.
