It includes development trend analysis, countries and regions strength analysis, national cooperation research, research institution analysis, researching experts analysis, periodical analysis, core article analysis and research topic analysis, etc. In the process of information analysis, it pays attention to the analysis and evaluation of domestic related technical level and scientific research status; through the comparison with other countries, find out our advantages and disadvantages and key influencing factors.Research shows that: through the patent analysis and literature measurement analysis, it can be concluded that global patent applications quantities and issued documents quantities are rapidly growing since 2000 and biomass adhesives technology for wood enters into a developing period. USA, Japan, China, Canada and France are at the top in patent applications quantities and documents quantities both, have high technical level and scientific research strength, and are at world leading level in the related field of biomass adhesives for wood. Enterprises pay attention to the number of patents, but colleges and universities to the number of scientific research literature from the worldwide. Global comprehensive strength-strong institution is Oregon state university in the United States; it has a large number of relevant patents and literature both. In China, the number of patents and documents are among the world’s highest level. At present, it has a good development trend, but its technology is relatively dispersed, overseas layout consciousness is weak. Mainly universities and research institutions participate in it, enterprises participation is relatively low. Our country should strengthen its scientific and technical research, strengthen cooperation at domestic and abroad, pay attention to the cultivation of professional talents, promote the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, and establish industry-university-research cooperation; at the same time, our country should strengthen the overseas patent layout, establishing early warning mechanism.
