The Research Of The Ritual Construction Of Traditional Cultural Programs From The Ritual View Of Communication

Under the background of the increasingly prevalent trend of pan-entertainment,with the guidance of national policies and the awakening of national consciousness,the traditional cultural programs have become an important driving force for stimulating national emotions and building identity.In recent years,with the introduction of traditional cultural programs into the new media field,the virtual nature of cyberspace has given different cultural circles a space for independent expression,thus forming a feast for the ritualized transmission of traditional culture.In the face of increasingly diverse cultural collisions,how to adapt traditional cultural expressions to the discourse system in the new media field and conduct effective communication has become a key issue.From the perspective of James Carey's view on communication rituals,this research takes the traditional cultural program—the cultural documentary "Every Treasure Tells a Story" as the research object,and combines relevant theories such as media rituals and ritual communication,with the three levels of "ritual content","ritual method" and "a ritual of the program itself",analyzes the ritual construction in the program's own expression.Then the program is placed in the bullet screen of the emerging cultural platform "Bilibili",and the formation of interactive ritual elements in the bullet screen is explained from the perspective of "interactive ritual chain" by Randall Collins.Next,this paper uses text analysis and in-depth interview research methods to find the that "personal emotional expression","group participation and interaction" and "meaning extension" are the most significant characteristics of the program's bullet screen.Moreover,based on the content characteristics of bullet screen,this research analyzes the interactive ritual output,which included "emotional energy","common symbol","group unity" and "moral sense".Lastly,from the media perspective of "as an extension of people",it discusses the role of new media in the creation of a space for communication rituals in the context of the Internet.Through the analysis of " Every Treasure Tells a Story " itself and its ritual construction in the field of bullet screen,this research provides inspiration and reflection on the innovative expression of traditional cultural documentaries based on the research results,to give an a expectation to expanding traditional cultural programs in new media,and to play the role of this type of program in consolidating social and cultural identity through the construction of rituals in the communication.
