Narrative Research On In-Depth Report Of Public Health Emergencies

The narration of news report refers to the activity of using certain language system to narrate and reconstruct the newly happened news facts.In the public health emergencies of the new coronavirus epidemic,the in-depth report of Sanlian Life Weekly has made outstanding achievements.Public health emergencies are characterized by suddenness,uncertainty and destructiveness,which are related to the safety of life and property of the public.Once they happen,they will lead to very strong social effects and cause widespread concern of the society.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the narrative mode of in-depth reporting of public health emergencies.At present,it is rare to explore this mode from the perspective of news narratology.This study has important theoretical significance and practical reference value for the creation of indepth reports of public health emergencies.Using the theory of news narratology to interpret the in-depth reports of public health emergencies,as well as the representative narrative strategies and techniques,will provide experience for the media how to do well in-depth reports of major public health emergencies,so as to improve the narrative strategies and enhance the narrative ability of the whole media industry.By summing up the narrative law of in-depth report,it also deepens the narrative research of in-depth report.Through sample analysis,we found that Sanlian Life Weekly used a variety of narrative techniques in this in-depth report: changing multiple narrators;Adopting multiple narrative perspectives;Flexible use of narrative time and narrative structure;Arrange a variety of narrative strategies;Using narrative rhetoric skillfully and so on.In addition,we also discussed from the level of news discourse,analyzed from the words and sentence patterns,and discussed the transformation of the archetype of "hero" and the narrative paradigm of focusing on individual destiny.Finally,we summarize the narrative characteristics and narrative value of Sanlian Life Weekly in this public health emergency,and summarize its enlightenment to the in-depth report of public health emergency.
