With the development of computers and communication technologies,computer networks have become an indispensable part of the work and life of units and individuals.As computer networks become more and more widely used,the scale of networks is becoming more and more complicated,and people are gradually realizing the importance of network monitoring How to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the network has become an urgent demand of various industries and society at present.The network status monitoring system is a software-based network application system combining software and hardware.Its goal is to manage the network,ensure the normal operation of equipment in the network,and improve network efficiency.The essence of network status monitoring is to monitor the status,traffic,performance,and overhead of each managed device,analyze the network status in advance,facilitate network management,and ensure the smooth running of services and systems running on the network.SNMP is a network management protocol based on the management station / agent mode.It is an industry standard that is widely accepted and put into use.Its role is to enable network managers to obtain the required information from managed devices by using this protocol.Analysis and processing.This article discusses the development history and research significance of network condition monitoring,introduces the current mainstream technologies used in the field of network monitoring,analyzes the basic model of network management,and studies the principles and knowledge of the SNMP protocol.Based on this,a set of network conditions is designed and developed Monitoring System.The system uses a combination of VS C ++ 6.0 and MATLAB 6.5 based on the SNMP protocol in the Windows environment to implement monitoring functions such as network device traffic,interface status,and network topology drawing.This article focuses on the nerves used by the abnormal status alarm module.In-depth research on network algorithms,for the traditional BP algorithm with slow convergence and easy to fall into extreme values,the rough set theory is used to preprocess the data to improve the algorithm;this system uses the SNMP protocol to obtain managed device information through polling,in order to solve the polling time It is not easy to set up the problem,designed an adaptive polling algorithm,automatically adjusted the polling time according to the network condition,and reduced the network equipment overhead.In the laboratory environment,it proved that the system test effect is good,and it is convenient for the network administrator to monitor the network status in real time.The development of the field provided some help.
