Looking at the development of the domestic entertainment industry in recent years,many popular variety shows,film and television dramas and acting stars are often related to the popularity of a certain pair of CP.Therefore,in order to better cater to the tastes of the audience and increase the ratings,media producers continue to manufacture and enthusiastically praise their own CP.In fact,CP has become a huge media cultural phenomenon,which has triggered heated discussions in the Internet space time and time again.CP fans have undoubtedly become the focus of attention.They actively and eagerly embrace the Internet,try to use the media to participate in social networks,have unique cultural practices and cognitive methods,and have the skills to manage social networks.But how can they contain so much energy?Starting from this question,this article attempts to investigate the production and communication practices of this group to understand how CP fans,as an active audience,control the media in their own hands,and how they respond to the information and products produced by the mass media.From the perspective of audience research,along the research path of participatory culture,this study unified the activities of CP fan groups based on social media platforms into the category of media participation behavior,and carried out three dimensions based on the activities of CP fans.The three dimensions include the construction and maintenance of virtual communities,information exchange and interactive practice,and cultural production practice.The research adopts virtual ethnography research methods,combined with online observation and in-depth interview content,to describe and analyze the media participation behavior of CP fans.Research has found that CP fans build virtual communities,which allows scattered individuals to regroup in the Internet space.Social media,fan interaction,and emotional belonging are the conditions for the construction of virtual communities.In the construction of identity,holding virtual ritual activities,participating in group confrontation and collective action,a sense of community represented by the "us" consciousness is formed to maintain the entire community.In the virtual field,CP fans play the roles of consumers and producers at the same time.They are not only receivers of mass media culture,but also capable of producing new texts and publishing and disseminating them.Centering on CP itself and fan text,fans gather together and conduct interaction and communication,forming a unique interactive mode.Fans compete for power and status within the community,and a centralized circle structure is re-formed under the decentralized communication pattern.Fans form a social network full of weak links in mutual communication,and there is a tendency to transform from weak relationship to strong relationship,and expand and enhance their own social capital.This research summarizes and refines the meaning and value of CP fans' media participation behavior in the social media environment,and puts forward the following points:First,collective wisdom is the core meaning of the establishment of virtual communities.The Internet allows participants to establish connections with other individuals in the form of communities,and through interaction and sharing,the limited knowledge of individuals is brought together to break through the limitations of geographical,discipline and resources in the real environment,complete the transfer and sharing of knowledge,and promote the formation of collective wisdom.Based on the sharing of group wisdom,a community-based learning model have the foundation and space for development.Secondly,Fan-generated content has gradually become a new production method,breaking the traditional elite-generated pattern,and injecting new production forces into the cultural production system.Industrial organizations are working hard to turn fans into an important driving force in the industrial marketing process,and strive to attract fans to participate in production and obtain materials and inspiration for content production.Finally,the fan community actually provides a participatory learning environment for CP fans.Around the common goals and interests,fans are eager to learn new knowledge and skills,and skillfully use various media means to create and produce content,develop teamwork,and demonstrate good social skills and literacy,which can inspire us to develop and cultivate new media literacy to adapt to the new media environment.
