As an important part of the social community,fans' carnival behavior makes us realize the change of the group behavior pattern brought by the development of media technology.Domestic fans group carnival behavior emerge with TV talent shows.The relationship between fans and idols,and the behavior of fan groups to soughing after idols,has all become the concern of mass media and commercial capital.The convenience brought by media technology has created the conditions for the fans'revelry.Take the example of network technology,the Internet gathered the original isolated individual fans and established a virtual community.Instant online communication breaks the limits of geographical segmentation and creates a face-to-face experience.The abundant form to present message wins the single text communication,which drives the sharing of information between fans.The seamless communication of information promotes the interaction in fans group.They can share the information of the idols online.The spatial form of the behavior building by media technology allows people to achieve the docking of online and offline,and to enrich the scene elements of carnival behavior.This paper uses the theoretical resource of "media situational theory" to reexamine the fan carnival behavior of the Internet age,trying to analyze what the situation created by the media looks like and what's the construction mechanism of the situation on the fan carnival behavior.The article first combs the behavior of the fans in different media situations,and puts forward the three characteristics of fans' carnival behavior in the Internet age:consumption becomes an important carnival form;rational carnival behavior and irrational carnival behavior coexist;the anomie phenomenon carnival group is remarkable.Then,the article analyzes in detail the formation of the fan carnival empire,the identity of the carnival participants and the operation of the carnival organization.The paper found that the network media situation has ultimately builed the fans carved scenes by acting on these three levels.The media situation affects behavior,and vice versa?While Fans are in the collective carnival,they also create a new media situation:the high degree of fan groups cohesion and high consumption creates a new consumer situation,making fan economy into a new fashion;fans cultural creation behavior also leads to a new network subcultural situation,such as barrage culture and fans recycled text.
