In December 2010,the "Zhihu" website was officially opened.After nearly ten years of development,"Zhihu" has realized the transformation from a small crowd to the general public.After experiencing many events that have triggered explosive social discussions,"Zhihu" has become a new field for the public to carry out professional communication and discussion,and is also the most typical social question-and-answer community in China.At present,the development of the Internet leads to information overload,and targeted question-and-answer interaction forms emerge on the basis of audience's demand for knowledge and information search.This is also the most prominent media feature of "Zhihu",and its question-and-answer features and reasons have strong media representativeness and research value.This paper first summarizes the development process and current situation of "Zhihu".At present,the two major functions of "Zhihu" are question and answer interaction and knowledge payment.Among them,question and answer interaction is the concentrated embodiment of "Zhihu" influencing social discussion and also the focus of this paper.Based on the following "Zhihu" published in 2017-2019 "Zhihu big event of the year" of 111 hot problems as the research sample,adopts content analysis method from the content of different variables on the content,answer encoding and comb,combined with the content of the specific case questions and text analysis,on the characteristics of question and answer "Zhihu" generalizations,and from platform characteristics,the media environment,and users thought three aspects to analyze the cause of the question and answer feature.The research found that the questions of "Zhihu" have a wide range and are highly instructive,reflecting the information needs of user groups.Most of them are open questions to attract users to answer and discuss.In terms of the content of the answer,there are multiple forms,multiple angles,long length and rational expression features,which are the most important knowledge export of "Zhihu".Besides,ordinary users with certain knowledge contribution become the main body to raise questions and participate in the discussion.The characteristics of the "Zhihu" platform determine that the content-based cultural capital becomes a key factor affecting the characteristics of questions and answers.The media environment leads to changes in information needs.The construction of users' thinking makes the question and answer function of "Zhihu" prominent and can stimulate more diversified and valuable answers.Finally,it is found that the current "Zhihu" insists on the primacy of content and efficient social communication,and undertakes the social function of inspiring thinking and solving problems.At the same time,it summarizes the balance between sociality and business and the development problem of content quality assurance faced by "Zhihu".
