The study of plane geometry has always been the focus and difficulty of junior middle school students' learning.It is also one of the necessary test points for the middle school entrance examination.It is also the basis for senior high school students to learn three-dimensional geometry and even the whole geometry.The mathematics game integrates interest,operability and knowledge,which can exercise students' ability from many aspects.Plane geometry game is one of the best ways to assist plane geometry teaching in junior middle school and cultivate students' quality and innovation ability.Polar coordinates is an important link connecting the middle school and University stages.At present,although the knowledge of polar coordinates is involved in the middle school stage,it only stays at the level of being able to do questions,and the learning of polar coordinates knowledge is lacking,which leads to many difficulties for college students in analytical geometry.This study takes the plane geometry content of the junior middle school textbook of the people's education edition as the blueprint.Firstly,it combs the content of the textbook,and analyzes the characteristics,levels and problem settings of the existing plane geometry puzzle games "geometric drawing",educational games "geocon HD",card desktop game "playing geometry".Secondly,drawing on the idea of dividing the plane into small rectangles or diamonds in geometric drawing,this paper constructs a method to determine the position of points on the plane(polar coordinates)by means of rings and rays(polar coordinates).At present,the game of polar coordinates and geometry has six chapters,with a total of53 levels.The six chapters are line segment,triangle,quadrilateral,rotation,symmetry and circle.Each chapter does not conflict with each other,and the degree of difficulty increases in order.Game participants need to choose a chapter to enter,solve problems in order,and complete the current problem before entering the next problem.Each level does not exist independently,The design of the level also reflects the relevance of geometric knowledge.Finally,the design of this game can be used not only as an after-school exercise,but also as a reference for classroom teaching.Therefore,this study also completed the teaching design of isosceles triangle and finding the center of a circle.This research is the expansion and extension of plane geometry game in rectangular coordinates.It integrates game design and teaching implementation.The content of the game is constructed in polar coordinates.I hope that the design of this game can deepen students' understanding and learning of polar coordinates unconsciously,and can play the effect of moistening things in sound and weathering in success.
