In high school mathematics teaching,the problem of polar coordinates and parametric equation belongs to a special topic and an optional content.In learning,it must be based on trigonometric functions,geometry and plane vectors,which are compulsory contents of senior high school mathematics.In the survey,it is found that different types of problems of polar coordinates and parametric equations occur in the college entrance examination every year,which belongs to a scoring point in the college entrance examination of senior high school mathematics.If we can master the polar coordinates and parameters skillfully.The problem solving method of number equation helps to improve students' achievement in mathematics entrance examination.In view of the teaching situation of "Polar Coordinates and Parametric Equations" in senior high school mathematics in Qinghai Province,this paper summarizes the learning status of polar coordinates and parametric equations of senior high school mathematics students in Qinghai Province,in order to improve the students'ability of solving problems of coordinate systems and parametric equations.To put forward corresponding teaching strategies for practical problems,highlight the key points,so that students can skillfully apply the knowledge of polar coordinates and parametric equations.From investigating the current situation of problem solving,to providing methods of problem solving,and then to putting forward corresponding teaching countermeasures,this paper can provide some reference opinions for teachers and students in the teaching and learning of polar coordinates and parametric equations,and contribute their own modest efforts to improve students'performance in the college entrance examination of mathematics.
