Under the guidance of the new curriculum reform,since 2017,the selection of the topic selection of the college entrance examination has changed from three to two.After the plane geometry is removed,polar coordinates and parametric equation in teaching and leaning become very important.Before the new curriculum reform,teachers paid little attentin to this module and even some schools did not choose to learn this module.Thus teachers and scholars had a few reseach results about this aspect.But according to the current situation,the module are being paid more attention owing to their rising status in the college entirance examination and their own value.Baced on the situation,an important optional content of 4-4 named polar coordinate and the parametric equation will be studied.Through the combination of theoretical cognition and practice,this paper makes a basic analysis and research on the practical teaching of polar coordinates and parametric equations in high schools.Based on a comprehensive understanding of the polar coordinates and parameter equations in high schools,this paper expounds the main significance and necessity of studying this module.This thesis use documentary research and investigation method to make a statistical analysis on the knowledge content of the module,module syllabus requirements,the analysis of the test situation,the characteristics of the test questions in the college entrance examination,and the basic situation of the teaching and learning of this module at the present stage of high school and gives suggestions.On this basis,the paper mainly focuses on the application of information technology in the course of teaching,the integration of HPM and classroom teaching,the idea of polar coordinates and the teaching of geometric meaning of parameters.some aspects in the process of the teaching which are the alpplication of information technology,the integration of HPM and classroom teaching,the idea of polar coordinates and parametric equation geometric significances.It is necessary to embody the mathematical ideas contained in the konwledge of this module and the solution of the problem in the course of teaching,so as to lay a solid foundation for the training of students' thinking and the future study.
