Effects Of Ermiao Baihu Decoction On Inflammatory Factors And Joint Pain In Patients With Gouty Arthritis (damp-heat Blocking Collaterals Syndrome)

Objective:To investigate the effect of modified ermiaobaihu Decoction on inflammatory factors and joint pain in patients with gouty arthritis(dampness heat obstructing collaterals syndrome).Methods:326 outpatients and inpatients from January 2015 to December 2020 in the Department of Nephrology and rheumatology of Wuyi Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Jiangmen City were collected.They met the inclusion criteria and were diagnosed as gouty arthritis(arthralgia syndrome,dampness heat blocking collaterals syndrome).Among them,168 patients had complete information and met the relevant observation indexes involved in this study.Among the 168 patients,100 patients used modified ermiaobaihu decoction,and the other 68 patients did not use it.The clinical efficacy of each patient was statistically analyzed.The clinical symptoms,signs,C-reactive protein(CRP),inflammatory factors such as IL-6 and TNF were observed before and after treatment-α、Blood uric acid(UA),blood and urine routine,liver and kidney function,etc.Objective to evaluate the effect of modified ermiaobaihu Decoction on inflammatory factors and joint pain in patients with gouty arthritis(dampness heat obstructing collaterals syndrome).Results:1.Serum uric acid,CRP,creatinine,IL-6,TNF were used before and after treatment-a The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Through the comparison of the total score of TCM syndromes,the difference between the treatment group and the pre treatment group,observation group and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05)..3.Through the comparison of individual syndrome scores,the main symptoms were:relieving pain,swelling,heavy feeling and fever of muscles or joints.After treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The secondary symptoms of the two groups before and after treatment:thirst and urination yellow,after treatment and before treatment,observation group and control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Before and after treatment,tongue and moss images were improved in different degrees.Conclusion:The modified ermiaobaihu decoction has a significant effect on reducing the degree of pain and inflammatory indexes in patients with gouty joint(dampness heat obstructing collaterals syndrome).
