| Objective: To make and analyze Meniere’s disease(MD)rapid auxiliary diagnosis questionnaire. In order to simplify the medical treatment process and reduce costs for patients with Meniere’s disease, while reducing the burden on clinicians and saving medical resources. Methods: From August 2020 to March 2021,429 patients with otogenic vertigo diagnosed in the Department of Otolaryngology of Fudan University and The Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were collected and completed a vertigo questionnaire prepared by experts.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire, the rapid diagnosis questionnaire for Meniere’s disease was compiled and perfected.By analyzing the questionnaire,a rapid diagnosis questionnaire for MD was made and refined. At the same time,SPSS22.0 software was used to evaluate the reliability and validity of the questionnaire;the receiver operating curve(ROC)method was used to determine the cut-off point of the MD rapid diagnosis questionnaire. Results: Meniere’s disease rapid questionnaire diagnosis consists of six questions :(1)Is the attack unbalanced, unstable walking?(2)when the attack is accompanied by tinnitus?(3)Is the attack accompanied by ear tightness?(4)Is the attack accompanied by hearing loss?(5)Is there a decline in fluctuating audiology during the course of the disease?(6)Have you had severe hearing loss in the past? The Cronbach alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.658.Construct validity: KMO value is 0.715;select factors with characteristic roots greater than 0.9,the total contribution rate is71.322%,and each characteristic root is greater than 0.5.The MD rapid diagnosis questionnaire score range is 0-6 points. When the score is 3.5 points, the ROC curve area of MD diagnosis is the largest(0.928),the sensitivity is 88.60%,and the specificity is 87.50%.Conclusions:The MD rapid diagnosis questionnaire has high reliability and validity, and can be used as an auxiliary tool for dizziness patients to quickly diagnose MD;when the questionnaire score is greater than 3.5 points(≥ 4 points),MD can be initially diagnosed. |
