| Objective:To investigate the expression of sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectins 9(siglec-9)in epithelial ovarian tumor tissues and to analyze its clinical significance. Methods:A total of 60 clinical cases were selected in this study, and paraffin specimens of ovarian tumor tissues with clear lesions were selected. The selected patients were all confirmed as primary epithelial ovarian tumor by surgical treatment as the first treatment method, and the postoperative pathological results were confirmed as primary epithelial ovarian tumor by senior physicians. The experimental groups were divided into three groups, namely epithelial malignant ovarian tumor, borderline ovarian tumor and benign ovarian tumor, with a sample size of 30 cases,20 cases and 10 cases, respectively. The relationship between the positive expression rate of sig Lec-9 and epithelial ovarian tumors was analyzed. Results: The expression of s Ig Lec-9 was highly expressed in epithelial ovarian malignant tissues, moderately expressed in borderline tumor tissues, and low in benign tumor tissues, with statistically significant differences. The positive expression of sigluc-9 in epithelial ovarian malignant tumor tissues showed differences in different levels of tumor tissue differentiation,as well as in different FIGO surgical pathological stages, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but there was no significant correlation with presence of ascites, and pathological type of serous epithelial carcinoma or other epithelial carcinoma(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Siglec-9 may play a role in the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of ovarian malignant tumors, and its expression may be used as an indicator to determine the stage and differentiation degree of ovarian epithelial cancer, may become a combined indicator for early diagnosis of ovarian cancer, and may become a new targeted treatment point for ovarian epithelial malignant tumors in the future. |
