Effect Of Pediatric Massage Combined With Acupuncture On Intestinal Flora Structure Of Children With Tourette Syndrome

Objective:Tourette syndrome(TS)in children is a serious disease that endangers children’s physical and mental health.It is easy to be ignored by parents and teachers in the early stage,which affects children’s study and life,and brings great spiritual and economic burden to their families and society;The etiology and pathogenesis of the disease has not been fully clear in western medicine,and the treatment has not reached the ideal state.The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of massage combined with acupuncture in children with Tourette’s syndrome;Through 16 S r DNA technology to extract and sequence the total fecal DNA of the control group and the children group before and after treatment,to explore and reveal its influence on the structure of intestinal flora,to seek a healthy and effective method of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,and to support from the aspect of intestinal flora.Methods:40 children with tic who met the inclusion criteria and did not meet the exclusion criteria in our hospital from April 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the children group.They were treated with massage combined with acupuncture,once a day,six times a week,two weeks as a course of treatment.After two courses of treatment,according to the overall severity scale of Ti C(YGTSS)The effective rate was calculated according to the symptom reduction rate.Thirty eight healthy children of the same age and without clinical manifestations related to spleen and stomach disorders in recent two months were selected as the control group.The total fecal DNA of the control group and the children group before and after treatment was extracted,and the macrogenomic 16 S amplicon was sequenced to observe the differences of intestinal flora structure.Results : The total effective rate was 87.5%;The results of macrogenomic 16 S amplicon sequencing showed that the bacterial community structure of the children group was significantly different from that of the control group before treatment;After treatment,the flora structure of the children group changed significantly compared with that before treatment;Compared with the control group,the flora structure of the children group tended to be similar.At phylum level,the relative abundance of Firmicutes and Proteobacteria in the children group increased significantly after treatment,which were close to those in the control group.Conclusions:Infantile massage combined with acupuncture is effective in the treatment of Tourette’s syndrome;Through children massage combined with acupuncture and stimulation of related acupoints to reconcile the spleen and stomach,we can improve the relative abundance of Firmicutes and reduce the relative abundance of Proteobacteria at the phylum level,so as to optimize the flora structure and relieve or treat tic symptoms...
