In the last couple of decades,people’s medical demands are upgrading continuously as the fast-economic growth and government open policy.People expect something completely different from before.Health industry appeared in a wide range of development trends.Internet technology brings challenge to traditional medical technology and clinical thought,medical industrial has been restructured,a disruptive innovation.Daytime surgery centers,third-party testing centers,rehabilitation and elderly care institutions,Internet hospitals and other new industrial forms have emerged.With the change of medical development trend,the hospital also changes in function and structure.If the hospital can follow the trend of development,it can be promoted rapidly,otherwise,it will encounter many challenges and problems.Facing the new environment,the competition level in the market is more serious.To choose a suitable competitive strategy and find its own competitive advantage to gain a share of the market has been a core question concerned by each hospital for recent years.Therefore,combined with "Internet plus" background,it is extremely important for C foreign-funded hospital to formulate a suitable competitive strategy at this stage.This paper takes C foreign-funded hospital for example to learn the difference of competitive strategy of the domestic foreign-funded medical service industry,combined with "Internet plus" background.In this paper,case analysis,literature methodology,questionnaire,comparative research has been used to seek out the chances and risks for hospital developing,and spot development trend in future,and development orientation as well.This paper selects C foreign-funded hospital for the study,analyzes and assess which competitive strategy is the best choice at this stage.Firstly,PEST method is used to highlight the external factors impacting on the hospital development.The opportunities for hospital development are open policies,steady economic growth,high-quality and diversified upgrading of consumer demands.However,there are some challenges such as medical market increasingly fierce competition,shortage of medical resources,and lack of consumer trust etc.The EFE matrix is formed.Meanwhile,the IFE matrix is formed by analyzing the human resources,product resources,customer resources and other core resources of the hospital to figure out the pros and cons of the hospital.Finally,the paper draws a conclusion that C foreign-funded hospital should select the differentiation competitive strategy in the context of "Internet plus" with the assist of strategy analysis tool(SWOT)and Porter’s theory.At the end of the paper,the paper introduced differentiation competition strategy execution.It’s including hospital product and market differentiation,brand diversification,and difference services to customers.To ensure effective operation of the competition strategy,C foreign-funded hospital should develop adequate organizational structures and optimize HR processes,pay more attention to the corporate culture and develop hospital information system.Through systematic analyzing and comparing on competitive strategy in the background of information society,this paper provides a feasible reference for C foreignfunded hospitals to select and implement differentiated competitive strategy in the medical competition market,and also provides ideas for similar foreign-funded medical institutions.
