Observation On The Clinical Efficacy Of Acupuncture And Medicine In Treating Wind-Heat Type Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Objective: To compare with the conventional clinical treatment plan(acupuncture plus western medicine)for peripheral facial paralysis,and to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Prescription in the treatment of wind-heat type peripheral facial paralysis based on the acupuncture group and prescription thought of my tutor.Methods: Sixty patients with peripheral facial paralysis of wind-heat type were enrolled.Random number method generated by computer,the patients were randomly divided into test group and control group.Control group(n=30): Acupuncture combined with conventional western medicine treatment.Select the acupoints on the affected side of Yangbai,Cheek Che,Sibai,Zygomatica,Dicang,Yifeng,Taiyang,Qianzheng,Hegu,Waiguan,and Guanchong;Western medicine is given prednisone tablets,30mg/d,continuous service 7 days;8-11 days,20mg/d;12-14 days 10mg/d,a total of 14 days;Mecobalamin tablets orally,0.5 mg each time,3 times a day,a total of 20 days;Acyclovir,200 mg/d orally,taken 5 times a day for10 days.The experimental group(n=30)was treated with acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Prescription.Acupuncture points are selected from the Xu’s facial paralysis experience point group: Yangbai,Zygomatica,Sibai,Xiaguan,Yingxiang,Yifeng,Qianzheng,Dicang,Cheekcar,Shuigou,Chengzhi,Cuanzhu,Yuyao,Sizhukong,Hegu,Zusanli,Taichong,Xu’s Qianzheng San,re-used Radix Isatidis and Honeysuckle,the specific Chinese medicine composition: Radix Isatidis 30g Honeysuckle 20g,White Monkshood 10g,Scorpion 5g,Stiff Silkworm 10g,Centipede 2 Strips,Atractylodes Macrocephala 10g,Angelica sinensis 10g,Radix Paeoniae Alba 10g,Angelica dahurica 10g,Safflower 5g,Raw or Roasted Licorice 6g,Parsnip 10g,1 dose per day.Each dose will be boiled in a non-iron pan at home,and a total of 100 ml of medicinal solution will be obtained.Take 50 ml each time after a 15-minute break after breakfast and dinner.After a total of 20 days of treatment in the outpatient clinic,the two groups of patients were measured POORTMANN score,facial disability index physical function and social function score,H-B facial nerve function score change and clinical efficacy.Data statistics use SPSS25.0statistical analysis software.Results: 1.Compare the general information of the test group and the control group,such as gender,course of disease,age,etc.,and compare the HB facial nerve function ratings of the two groups before treatment,and the results are P>0.05 after statistical analysis.There were no significant differences between the groups,and they were comparable.2.The two groups were compared within the group.The test group was compared with before treatment.After 20 days of outpatient treatment,the difference in HB facial nerve function rating was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the difference in FDIP score was statistically significant(P< 0.01),FDIS score difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),simple PORTMANN score difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);compared with the control group before treatment,the difference in HB facial nerve function rating after20 days of treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01),FDIP score difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),FDIS score difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),simple PORTMANN score difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);3.Comparison between the two groups,after 20 days of treatment,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 20 days of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 94%.A total of 12 cases were cured,11 cases were effective,5 cases were effective,and 2 cases were ineffective.The cure rate reached77%.In the control group,the total effective rate was 93%,4 cases were cured,14 cases were effective,9 cases were effective,and 3 cases were ineffective.The cure rate was 60%.Therefore,the efficacy of acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Recipe in the experimental group and the control group of acupuncture combined with conventional western medicine are significantly different,and the efficacy of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion: 1.Acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Recipe and acupuncture combined with Western medicine can improve the clinical symptoms of wind-heat type peripheral facial paralysis.Compared with acupuncture and Western medicine,acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Recipe has better curative effect.Significantly.2.Acupuncture combined with Xu’s Qianzheng Recipe can help to restore facial nerve function in patients with wind-heat type peripheral facial paralysis,reduce the patient’s psychological burden,improve the clinical cure rate,high recovery rate,small side effects,it is wind-heat type peripheral The preferred treatment plan for facial paralysis.
