The research project is port of the Science and Technology Project of Education Department of Jiangxi Province,the object of study is Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm,which is a kind of medicinal plant belonging to Verbenacea famiy,the genus Callicarpa L..Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm is mainly distributed in Hainan Province,Jiangxi Province,Guangdong Province,Guangxi Province and other domestic regions,and in Singapore,India,Vietnam,Malaysia and other foreign regions.It was first recorded as“Bauhinia” in A Supplement to Materia Medicine of Chen Zangqi in the Tang Dynasty.After,it was named “Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm” independently in the 1950 s due to the extensive use of the local doctors of Li nationality in Hainan.Later,it was documented as “Gan Feng Chai” in the Zhong Hua Ben Cao,which have been published by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.In 2020,it was added into the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.According to Chinese medicine,Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm is bitter,spicy and neutral in nature,which have been widely applicated in indigenous medicine in the treatment of internal and external bleeding,inflammation especially caused by bacterial,acute infectious hepatitis,etc.As a Hainan Province genuine herb,Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm have been proven to present remarkable therapeutic effects,and a variety of preparations,such as “Luo Hua Zi Zhu Pian” “Luo Hua Zi Zhu Fen San Pian”“Luo Hua Zi Zhu Shuan” “Luo Hua Zi Zhu He Ji” “Luo Hua Zi Zhu Jiao Nang” or “Luo Hua Zi Zhu Ke Li” have been marketed and widely used.Modern pharmacological researches have confirmed that the isolated compounds or extracts of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm displayed stop blooding,anti-inflammatory,neuroprotective,antioxidant,antimicrobial,as well as analgesic effects.Literatures reportes that it contains dissimilar secondary metabolites that are categorized as flavonoids,phenylethanoid glycosides,terpenoids(triterpenoids,diterpenoids,iridoid glycosides),essential oil,etc.From the 65% extract of leaves of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm,twenty-one compounds were isolated by macroporous adsorption resin,Sephadex LH-20,ODS,silica gel,and preparative HPLC.The structures were elucidated as callicapene M6(1)、Sterebin A(2)、didodecyl thiodipropionate(3)、12,15-dihydroxylabda-8(17),13-dien-19-oic acid(4)、 2′-Hydroxy-4,3′,4′,6′-tetramethoxychalcone(5)、isomartynoside(6)、 sterebin O(7)、 dibutyl-phthalate(8)、 bis-(2-ethylhexyl)terephthalate(9)、 luteolin-7-O-β-D-glicopyranoside(10)、 crenatoside(11)、luteolin-7-O-β-D-neohesperidoside(12)、apigenin-7-O-β-D-neohesperidoside(13)、5,3′-dihydroxy-4′-methoxyflavone-7-O-β-D-neohesperidoside(14)、luteolin-7-O-(6′′-methyl ester)-β-D-glucuronide(15)、isoacteoside(16)、acteoside(17)、(7R)-campneoside I(18)、(7S)-campneoside I(19)、sterebin I(20)、sterebin J(21)on the basis of extensive spectroscopic methods including NMR,HR-ESI-MS,and optical rotation.Compound 1 is a labdane-type diterpenoids.Compound 2 、4、5、7、11 、14、15、20 and 21 were isolated from genus Callicarpa L.for the first time.Compound 18 and19 were primarily isolated from Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm.In conclusion,the purpose of the research is to study the bioactive constituents of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm.Our research achievement will provide academic support of the advanced studies on the plant pharmacodyamic material basis and mechanism of the anti-alzheimer′s disease,at the same time it also provides a scientific basis for the further development of the medicinal value of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arm.
